    Love it! Censorship at its best - If you dont post a good review you cant post anything at all... Field testing is exactly what it sounds like, you go out and test it in the environment in which it is to be used, in this case a field!.... They are for HFT which is outside ... In the Wind.... Ive never come across a HFT that allows rifles to be put vices in windless environments You might get some accurate test results if you use some JSB Darryl!     Its not an attack at the Company/Manufacturer if someone says they don't perform well in their rifle, they are like any other pellet on the market, you need to try them in your own rifle and see how they go ATB Adam

    This topic was on the news not so long ago,they want to bring it in because there were about 200 counts of air rifles being used in crimes in scotland last year (so the tv says) But thats out of how many people who own an air rifle and use it correctly? must be 100s of thousands compared to the number that cause a problem with them. Eventually it will all be like Ireland where you need a licence for all air rifles, which dosnt bother me as im sure if you have a genuine reason you will be allowed to continue using them Just because a druggie shot someone with an air rifle .. its ob

    There are a few threads on here about NV and there are a couple of routes you can go down - You can buy a night vision setup for a rifle such as Nitesite NS50 / NS200 or Pulsar N550/750 there are many other types too, they work really well but have a hefty price tag You can get a IR flood light and attach your handy-cam (must have 'Nightshot')to your rifle, try Snypercat on youtube she has some good videos on homemade setups and uses them very well on her rat shoots I think she also has a channel called Cublycat that does the same sort of videos You can get a few filters for your

    What do you mean by 'enhancer' Rog? Are you talking about stuff like the AccuCovers? i have one on my Ranger and i think its great! although you could get the same effect with 4 bits of tipex on your scope!! The idea behind them is that the dots are blurred in your vision but you can see them enough to notice if your cross hairs are out of alignment with them - when they are out of alignment it means your eye is not central to the reticle and will give you errors- when the dots line up with the cross hairs you know your all square If I was to do it again id just use a normal flip

    I agree with Chaz a pressure switch / toggle switch / dimmer switch is an invaluable addon Also if your trying to get close to rabbits you don't want to shine the light straight onto them - shine it off to one side or on the ground so the edge of the beam illuminates them, this way you are less likely to startle them and get within shooting range.     Ahh the problem with living the dream.... Reality comes to slap you around and throw you out on your arse!     Yes mate it would be impossible to do them outside I haven't known a still day in all the years I've worked there I use the old tank hanger where we used to have CVRT tanks, its 30yards if i lie in the open doorway shooting into a H83 ammo container filled with foam and hessian as a makeshift pellet trap ATB Adam
