    Yeah its a pain when you find something you like and want to keep hold of, the S10 shoots so well i was going to have it FACd and just keep it, its that good. Shot a 1 hole 10shot group at 30 yards today and it measured 13mm and that wasnt even trying to put a good group together, i think if it dosnt go in a couple of weeks ill keep it and have it put onto my ticket Only worry is if it was turned up to 30ftlbs and it sent the grouping all over i would be devastated ATB Adam

    Hello All. Having to VERY Reluctantly sell my BSA SuperTen MkII .22 Got my FAC & SGC now so something has to go and unfortunatly the BSA is it Super rifle, easily hits 1 hole groups at 30yards putting out 11.4ft lbs with H&N FTT Comes with A&M Marksman Moderator, Hawke 3-9x50 Mildot Scope & Mounts (brand new won at the THL meet in Oct) ,17" screwcut barrel, 1x 10 shot mag, spare buddy bottle 'O' rings and Custom bolt handle (can throw in the original if you want it) Had a full service earlier in the year.     I applied with my land permissions and have just been granted a SGC & FAC - aslong as you can justify why you need them and where you will shoot them you shouldnt have any dramas and16years of shotgun experience will only strengthen your application. From posting mine it took 4 weeks for the visit and then about 2 weeks for the cert to drop through the post, i also sent a cover letter to explaining why i wanted each rifle and what i was going to use them for, aswel as a small background of my shooting history (stuff you dont get to say on the form) the FAO liked that.. only thing he di

    Very true, i was aware of it but as i was planning to keep it and use it that didnt really bother me but i think the route im going to take is to sell and buy a rapid ATB Adam

    Looks like ill have to put the S10 for sale then... and maybe the 97 too depending on how i feel (even though i just bought it) I wont be using it for rats Ghillies, only rabbits and to be honest i havent found a permission yet where ive shot (or even seen) 50 rabbits in one night so it should be plenty.     I know alot of people are saying Rapids, but is that just because everyone loves them or is that because they do perform that well as FAC air rifles ATB Adam

    Hey all, Been approved my FAC so ive been looking at FAC air rifles (aswel as rimfires ) What rifles perform well as FAC? Would it be worth me getting my S10 turned up to 30 ftlbs or just flogging it and buying something else? Ive heard they get around 60 shots from the bottle, which at that power seems pritty decent to me, and i know the gun shoots well. Anyone got any experience with FAC S10's or any other FAC air rifles ATB Adam

    I agree with andy, Buy cheap buy twice If you want a good gun go out and buy the best you can, if you dont you will always have that little niggle which in the end will drive you to spend more. ATB Adam

    measure twice drill once, drill wih a small dill bit first then the large one so not to slpit the wood, also put a bit of tape over where you will drill so the drill dosnt skip and mark your stock, make sure the bipod wont block and charging ports or anything else etc. take your time with it, its simple but can be messed up if rushed ATB Adam
