  1. Looking for a saluki or grey hound cross for jackrabbits,cotton tails etc any one know where er who i could contact about one er two?

I'd make one from a tree fork man if you look at some of the past posts on here you'l see it's not hard to ,the various elastic to use on em is personal more than ant thing although it should have reasonable power for the game you seek imo,an catty's are pretty much a small game tool pigeons, rabbits,rats etc imo though some takeon larger quarry they mostly have quite a bit of experience etc .

  4. I'd say a bit larger side because i like to shoot pebbles a lot an their available most places i go an i pick up quite a few when i come to them course their diffrent sized thus i like a larger pouch to acomadate diffrent sizes an 440 or 445 muzzle loader balls er marbles are others i use .

  8. I've been wrapping with cotton string an ,also thing both tube ends in the one hole instead of making two holes in the pouch does that matter much ?
  9. Could that be a weathered piece of hawthorne mebe ireguardless still looks good .
  10. Doesn't the super glue ste real fast though ,or is it some specific type i used some from Loctie to glue a chip together on a catty an it seems to dry almost instantly?

So far a wider fork of a tree with a good amount of wood on it so i can carve it to my spec's basically make it fit my hand good an i've been using 2050 dankung tubes doubled an i cut a groove around the fork tops to where i can rubber band the tubes down to the fork so far have been using marbles an pebbles but i have a good bunch of .440and .445 lead muzzle loader balls that i'l be using as well .
  12. If it's of course breaking at the leathers mebe if its got a real smooth side that may be is chaffing it ,i've heard others had that problem an they sanded the smooth side a bit an that took care of it .
  13. Thats what i'm talkin about if yeh wanna sell even the bottom half of one of them er do some trading mebe i'd be interested ,i have some good shanks an no thing to top em with .
  14. Yeah every thing that those guy's said try ,ive had a very heavy leather pouch an green theras that i got a lotta stinging hand slap till i worked with my ammo more increased the weight as was said.
  15. Are your bands indeed breaking as the result of to light projectiles ,or is it an abrasion issue ,like sharp corners some where on the forks mebe ?

Cut a small groove for yur small rubber band or twine to wrap on the fork tips then lay your tubes a bit over the groove an wrap it tight down with yer string er rubber band done, or use the gypsy tabs or wrap them around the forks an tie them off with the bands er string a lotta diffrent ways to do it really ,if we could see the forks that would give us a better idea how you might set them up .

  22. Really like the looks of that one ,so how do you cut the aluminum to shape an get it polished where it integrates with the wood ?
