  1. bang on seamaster. one mans garbage is another mans treasure! I think £200 is just about my limit for a scope, wouldn't really fancy paying much more than that! my £53 hawke sport HD does its job very well .. just as good as my other 2 scopes, both costing 3 times more than it.
  2. if only it was a .22 !! I already have 2 .177 springers otherwise I would have been interested
  3. Nice one Daz buddy keep up the good work also, when I go lamping with my mate its hard to understand what he says.. "mumble mumble'' just about sums it up
  4. another vote for the Air arms, both the s410- I had the .22 carbine and got plenty of shots for a days hunting, about if I remember correct. lovely rifle good weight and balance. should get one 2nd hand for a fair price. and the s200, more shots than the ultra, not as many as the 410 tho, and the 10 shot mag adapter thingy can be hit and miss. if 40-50 shots is enough for you then get the ultra SE multishot. or a scorpion se. or an ultra with a scorpion air cylinder. lots of choices mate lol. if it was me I would get the s410 and save up a bit more. personally. or t
  5. Hey Darryl, thought just popped into my head.. why not film some of it aswell and upload it to GHTV !! especially an accuracy test, and a look over the rifle, review type thing, after the project is finished. perhaps some hunting aswell ? have fun mate cant wait to see the finished rifle
  6. Mamba lite 'will do' in the meantime while you wait fella, good enough scopes. I know that feeling all too well, having to settle for second best because you cant get exactly what you want. you just have to make do! get the mamba, get it on the rifle, get out with it and enjoy your shooting!!!!
  7. Hopefully this will work for me aswell when i build a hide. Got birdssed and peanut butter to try might get some bigger nuts aswell
  8. Yeah nice one mate sounds brilliant! The scope i have on is a hawke panorama ev 50mm so it should be fine for the nite site. What sort of ranges do you normally shoot them at.? Il bang it on 4 x zoom and check my aimpoints if it helps. Its a .22 so best to do the research first.. and i need to re zero with Aa fields as i have ran out of jsb exact.. near enough the same pellet like but might affect trajectory slightly. Best to be prepared Thanks again mate

  20. Now then! been out today for a plink with the 77k again.. some good groups shot at 34 yards, the best one being the final zeroing group when I tried the hardest before I went to look for some vermin, and had a plink at my hft crow for a bit aswel 4 shots total, first shot to be used as the poa, then 3 shots to check zero, at 34 yards with the 4.50 FTT's Then a kneeling rested headshot, very elevated on a 25 yard woody, aswell as a quick headshot on the squirrel from 30 yards standing supported both shots had to thread the .177 pellets through a few branch
