    i just bought 4 tins of h&n ftt 5.53mm £42 quid at aaron wheelers £10.50 each..better to take more and not run out. running out half way through would be pretty crap lol Ahhhh right well if I start offering you drinks Saturday night it may mean I'm running out lmao I don't quite have a lot as I'm spending 60 on a scope at the meet i had 80euros left from my hol so went and cashed it into £sterling and got £50 odd quid, so that was my busfare, burgerking and 4 tins of pellets haha

    i love german shep's aswell. and rottweilers.. dobermanns are nice aswell. them little scratty old granny 'dogs' look more like friggin cats! haha big dogs are the best imo, although if i wanted a ratting dog a jack russel or patterdale etc would be a lot better than a big rottie hahah

    i just use a napier power pull through kit. it goes down the barrel easier than fishing line as its thick wire with a weight on the end .. less fiddly. use the patches you get with it.. i think there made from lint? DO NOT spray oil into your barrel or your gun will smoke like a F**king chimney for ages and ages, trust me i leared the hard way. also a brush is good for getting the Sh*t out of there faster but if your going from muzzle towards the breach be carefull none of it enters the insides of your gun, your supposed to go from breach to barrel but i guess you would have to strip

    Well guys its 30 degrees over here in greece loving it just relaxing by the pool and beers are going down very nicely indeed.. Cant wait to get back to cold wet england so i can camp in a freezing wet field and get my arse kicked at the shooting events..lol

    underpowered is better than OVER powered. take it to a gunshop and see if they can sort you out and keep it legal whilst giving it a boost up a bit

    good rifles second hand for rabbits under £300.. erm... weihrauch 97 95 77 99 air arms tx200 bsa supersport lightning loads more... MAIN THING ... PRACTICE PRACTICE. you said you have shot targets before so if you can hit a 2p at whatever range, 20yds 30yds 40yds... then shoot to the range you can hit the 2p EVERY TIME. as for .177 / .22 it doesent matter, if the pellet enters the brain the rabbit is dead simple. .177 flies flatter so if your not so good with estimating distances go for .177 all the best

    Well first i would like to thank Thursodog for bringing this subject to my attention, one i never thought about.. and didnt think it would make a difference quick 20-25 shots on each target, rangemaster li .22 from the hw97kt, at 35 yards on 10x mag. please note after i set the zero off to the left a bit i did not adjust the scope in any way throughout this test. so last light it was getting hard to see the bull otherwise the no lamp group would be tighter, anyway the point of this test was not to get the tightest group, but to see if the POI would change after putting the lamp onto th
