I think most people when they get on in age start having a mortality check and don't see killing game as the point scoring exercise it was when younger. Maybe it's just getting bored of it or else recognising that the grim reaper isn't that far away from paying them a visit. It's alright for me and you to buy paper parcel meat because we realise what it means but when the junkie alcho on the street goes into the off licence he doesn't give a shit what it's wrapped in as long as he gets the product. I think governments are important. I remember the days when if you wanted to see which way the wind was blowing you just watched the bags blowing around like parachutes. The levy changed all that and they were no longer a disposable item and people reused them weekly because of cost.

It seems to cause a shock when it shows up in whales because of sheer size and gets attention but what about the small fish we eat on a daily basis that are sucking up the micro fibres and poisoning themselves and us when we eat them. There has to be an alternative packaging. It would make a very wealthy man that comes up with a solution that forces governments to rethink.

Interesting! that it's poor countries. Ireland brought in a simple plastic bag levy for only 22cent in supermarkets and people wouldn't pay it. It drastically reduced plastic bag waste up to eighty percent. People just brought out their trolleys and filled their car boots. How you would police that in a 3rd world country is another ball ache. If your daddy is pissing and shitting in the river 20 yards upstream and you are in swimming then it's hard to educate severely over populated areas. I can just imagine what it's like in some of those cramped areas in India ???

They don't seem to be getting ahead of themselves but played these guys at underage and walked into this match with no fear. Would that be thinking cocky or knowing we can beat these guys? As said they could get their arse handed back at World Cup but what a bunch of confident young men without taunting people. I think the New Zealand media are more in shock. Probably so but one of the Irish players was asked why wasn't he smiling? And he just said we knew and expected we would beat them. Like joe scmicht said it still doesn't matter if we meet them again we respect them and they are still the the team to beat.
