    The cameras sensors are just more sensitive to light than our eyes, more modern phone cameras have low light nightshot functions also, I remember seeing the northern lights for the first time in Iceland years ago and how much of a anticlimax it was because I was expecting them to look like what I'd seen on the TV, they tend to time-lapse the video on the the TV to make them appear to be moving more quickly than they actually are .

    They certainly have the capability for some type of Dirty bomb but not a tested nuke, it would have been detected worldwide if they did any actual testing.
