  5. I'm wanting to go out Sunday for a nice big walk with the dogs over some nice countryside, gunna take our lass aswell want to make a day of it and maybe pop to a pub for some bate and a pint but where to go? Does anyone have any ideas where best to go where the general public have access to maybe the Yorkshire moors perhaps or something like that? I could do with a change of scenery plus I'll be killing two birds with one stone, spent time with our lass but still have the dogs on a nice long day out. You see my thinking lol
  6. I can see why ppl go for bigger dogs though, my mate has a beddy whippet 19tts I have a collie whippet grey 23tts and his is forever not spotting stuff on the lamp where as mine don't miss a thing. Think those extra few inches make a hell of a difference Tbf tho if your dog is a handy lamping dog weather it sees it's rabbit or not it still should run the length of the beam and spot it on it's way down imo. Iv been stood on the brow of a hail lamper a rabbit knowing fine well that the dog hasn't seen it so I slipped him and once he got over the brow running straight down the beam and spots the
  7. Iv never seen one first hand just few picture's, I can imagine them being good bit sport with a pack of terriers in the cover
  8. Strong stuff he makes top collars and has a lifetime guarantee with the exception of chewing
  9. Just from my experience and what I have seen, the leggier type seem to be quicker thro cover and from cover to cover where the short leg type seemed like it couldn't get behind it's quary to move it from cover.
  10. My dog is 21tts and he does everything I want and more talking various game and if he had been a bit bigger than I doubt he would struggle with certain tasks like he sometimes does now, but when I say bigger I mean few inches taller and more weight behind him as he bout 34lb I think
  11. Nice dog fella, should have some fun with that
  12. Both will do the job you want but I'd go for parson tbh more leg and be quicker over the ground
  13. Top pics iww, you still getting bits done with Nell or is it just fun and games till September ?
  14. My dog used to lets ferrets walk over him when he was lay down but a young kit I had gave him a nip on his bolloxs now he stays well clear of them, if a ferret runs his was he will avoid it. If a rabbit comes outa whole with ferret attached the dog will still pick the rabbit up and carry it.
  15. Nice level pair. Handy size for the rabbits
