    The man asked her to stand back as he was handeling a live gun which he was looking out for her safety as far as I could see he was well with in his right to be ther doing what he was doing even telling her to read his written permission and when the fox did bolt it was despatched humanity and well with in the current laws

  6. There was never any training involved getting myn to bush he just smelling away and poped into some cover for a min or Twats before a rabbit came out
  7. The cover my dog works is very tight thick cover and he is about14-15 tts
  8. Myn goes thru bushes like a steam train if there is something to be had and he gets cuts all over

  12. He is 16 month and will work away to find rabbits in places you wouldn't think there would be

Well as I was saying before about my young dog being silent on rabbits well I been out asmuch as I can with him and he is very fast and furious when working cover and is starting to make a bit noise [BANNED TEXT] flushing rabbits and the lurcher is putting himself in the right place ready for the Coney so it's onwards and upwards for me
  14. I'm not saying get on your knees all the time just a few time to see if he will come in then gradually stand up etc
  15. Just a suggestion but get down on your nees with your arms open and try calling him with an excited tone, mite work
  16. Could also be diet give cod liver caps twice a week feed fish for oils etc

Hi guys looking to get out for a bit ratting have a you g terrier and small lurcher, iv been checking aload of places out digging away trying to follow few holes back but no luck, been lifting wood sheets etc and young terrier got a mouse but no rats even tho the ground looked promising. The dogs have never marked rats so there not much use to finding any at the moment but hopefully I will get then there

    I like a dog to make a bit noise but I'm assuming they cry like a hound ? If I were up on them hills or moor land I'd have a try of a few of them

    Fox pack I like the look of these dogs very interesting mix I'd like to see this type work however where I hunt I think they could get us into a lot of trouble as where I hunt is on the edge of a nature reserve and if this type hit a line and end up in the dene then I could be in an awfull lot of trouble with natural England the police and rspca, as there is a lot of earths in the wood and it holds a lot of badger which is a big no no if they try to hunt them as they have been seen during the day scratting around
