    He is silent unless he is moving a fox mateiv yet to hear he make any noise on rabbits whitch I'd like him to cry on Abit to alert the lurcher but lurcher has learned to keep an eye on him

    Well iv not been out as much with the terrier as I'd of liked to due to getting the lurcher out with the lamp but I took my lakey out with a pal the other day and just let him work his socks of. He is hunting up to a good standard flushing everything from cover that he comes a cross and starting to give the lurcher some more work. It took me quite a while to end up getting a terrier as I was wanting another lurcher to run with my current one but I know for q fact I would of favored my current lurcher and the other went to waste. So I had a look about found a good lakie pup and tbh iv nev

  4. Sure it is mate I asked few lads and they confirmed my pal had a dog which is outa that scruff and he also had the breeding wrote down, did you get the pup from bishop way on think I know who bred them

I'm only 20 and have had lurchers for a little under 6 year but hunted with ferrets far longer, [BANNED TEXT] I go out with ferrets I'm after numbers I want to be divig about pulling rabbits from nets but with my lurcher aslong as he gives 100% I'm happy, for instance me and a friend were out other night caught a good bag of rabbits both me and my pal we smiling away and chuffed how both dogs ran and caught. Ended with 19 rabbits and could have doubled that easy but I chose to end the night and go home and leave them for another day to work our dogs we had a good night with some great runs an

  9. Well as I havnt realy had the dog out lamping due to the ground and how warm it is I decided to go out last night, sort of a last minute thing. I picked my mate up and went to our normal spot ground was nice and soft wind was up Abit anyway done a few fields picked up 4 rabbits within half anhour which is a lot for round here gets back to the motor and decided to go down the road to another spot first field we picked up bout 5 rabbits walked few more fields picked up another 6 both me and my mate were happy with the way both dogs ran, could of stayed out and got more but decided to call it
  10. Had a walk out with a friend tonight ended up with 19 only out 2 hours so not bad at all

  16. Well tryed 2 spots one was some beech banks and the other besides quary dogs moves a few rabbits from there seats but no catch, still a great day dogs worked well so I was happy
  17. Me and my pal are off for a wander with the dogs in the morning hopefully catch a rabbit or two I'm takeing my Lakeland pup and my small lurcher my mate is takeing his small Russel and beddy whippet so should be intresting

  22. iv started to show massive intrest into the wheaton x lurchers as they seem to have it all when coming to working ability from what iv read and they also make a canny looking dog. has any one had any experiance with wheaton x whippet or wheaton x whip\grey or any pictures that you could share of this mix. im not yet on the look out for a dog as yet but in a couple of years i will be and personaly i think a wheaton x whippet would suit me and they way i work my dogs as i do a fair bit lamping but i do a hell of alot of mooching as i think this is the best way to see a dog truely use its br
