    Might just be the feeling I got on the 3 occasions I went along, it could be fine. Where is your club.

    Is the bottle leaking when not fitted to the rifle? If it is you will need a new bottle mate, they cost about £. You can get them fixed but it's nearly as expensive and no guarantee it won't go again. If its leaking when on the rifle the buddy bottle o ring might fix that or there is a problem with your regulator which you can have serviced by a few places, John bowkett being one person.

    I think there in lies the problem with these clubs. I didn't feel very welcome at the one up by me, went 3 times and people just felt hostile like I shouldn't be joining their club! I think it gets very territorial with alot of old timers thinking they own the place. When you do find a club that are helpful and welcoming suck it up because from my own Experiance and listening to others they can be hostile places!

    I think you just need to watch the newish episode on verminhunterstv with Si. It's called long range springer shooting. Si goes out to like 62 yards and is hitting spinners and a hft rat at those distances with .22 and it's a recoiling rifle. Im a great believer in .22 as used it all my hunting life. Know your distances and your sorted! There are those that grew up with .177 and won't convert. Nothing wrong with that, each to their own. Go with what you want mate as if you make the wrong decision you can't take it back!

    That doesn't surprise me Nate, I tried superfields and half the tin grouped well and the other half would fly all over the place. It was very strange! I ended up giving the away in the end I was that disheartened!

    Hmmmm scrunching up tin foil from the kitchen and rubbing on rust spots on barrel does the trick hey? Might have to rub down the barrel on the old mk2 tx then and give it a try! Cheers
