  10. Thanks mate. Folk seem to either love or hate them. IMO you can't beat them. The blade is easily fettled up to razor sharp. I put self lubricating phosphor bronze contact plates at the pivot in the antler ones i make, keeps them tight but smooth working which is the only down-side with the original wooden handles which expand and contract so your blade is either too tight or too loose.
  11. Custom Opinel No 9 on a fallow deer crown tine/ phosphor bronze contact plates. Shaving sharp! £70 Posted
  12. Building a shed so not much time to make stuff but had a couple of Opinel requests so did them this weekend. No8 & No9
  13. Thanks DF. That's the biggest antler tine one i have done. Most of the tines lend themselves to no 7 & 8's but that was a nice chuky crown tine from a fallow compliments of sussex and it worked well with the no9. ATB Griff.
  14. I do them but don't have any at the moment. Busy time of year but will be doing some more once i get the time. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/368219-couple-of-custom-antler-tine-opinels/ Sorry to hijack your thread Rio. Nice knives those and a good price for a quality handmade knife, hard to make them pay, that won't be a big hourly rate. Griff
