I agree I have taken a few youngsters fishing, and will be taking my oldest son enough too. I just took them to a nice local lake with plenty of small coarse fish, you could catch with no bait on the hook! Its all about building confidence with results hey Wish that was the case up here. Our 2 reservoirs are the only places in town for coarse fishing and as such get hammered. I've caught one Roach in about 10 fishing trips....tried all sorts, given up now and going back to sea fishing

I was wanting to get one, then i saw a video on youtube of a fella being stalked by a great white while far out to sea while in his kayak....it was in Australia mind but still, knowing my luck i'd go down in history as the only person ever to get mauled by a great white in British waters

Pmsl..... Typical Scotsman, no even scared in the deeps off the ocean and a shark turns up.Just thinking if Jaws was remade wi a Scotsman as coastguard it would be a short film. "There's a shark in the water, everybody out, OUT!!!"....."f**k off mother f****r!!!" THE END..:-) f***ing Darth Vader wasn't he?! That breathing/whistling obviously used the 'force' to get the shark to do one...

Suppose with all the Easterly winds we've had and rough seas all sorts will be washed up over the coming days.....never seen a shark or anything like that though. i've only ever seen seals, the closest i've got is the big f****r who nicked the fish off the end of my line, taking rod and reel over the side with it......hope it choked on it
