The vet here said tail docking would be £100 per pup wtf is that all about? £85 for the certificate and £15 for the actual procedure, joke!! Bloody hell mate it's 7 pound a pup including cert down here £15 per pup plus a 140 mile round trip to the only sensible vet for miles, that was after two conversations with the different vets.one vet who told me that tail was docking was totally illegal and another vetinary nurse who said it would be very dangerous to put three day old pups under general anasthetic, why would they need an anasthetic I said, well it will hurt otherwise she said a

Looking through the dog insurance forms i managed to find his pedigree certificate and history... I honestly don't have a clue what i'm looking at i'm not that fussed but thought i would ask, i recognise some of the names obviously but any decent dogs on there does anyone know?

Aye Malt i've seen the prices down your neck of the woods ranging from £100-£150 for Springers...up here it's about £300 which is what i paid for the dog so i must be the weekend type

Why... Prestige. The market dictates that people will pay more for gun dogs, across the board. Spot on. People pay more for gun dogs than they do lurchers simple as Not always.. If I ever needed a spaniel I reckon I could get one from working stock and pay no more than I'd pay for a lurcher... Aye but in terms of the over all market gun dogs attract a higher price than a lurcher.

It would annoy the shit out of me as well moxy...touch wood we don't get any at all now but press Ofcom to sort the job out and usually one letter from them sorts it My grandparents on the other hand are plagued despite being on the TPS, they have all sorts of 'businesses' ringing...insurance, PPI, washing machine insurance company, driveways, you name it someone has rang up about it lol...my grandma is quite savvy though and says no and if i'm there she passes the phone to me and they get a good bollocking. Praying on year olds the cheeky b*****ds.

We have enough plastic gypos in this town with their horses tied up on various bits of waste land / living in their front rooms (seen it with my own eyes!!) to know i don't like the real ones much! Pure daft c**ts.
