    She's 33 months so I would have thought her pads would be toughened up by now. The amount of walking on concrete, beach, grass and woodlands etc you'd think so! I tried a new thing today anyway lads, we've been out all morning, got back and stood her in the washing up bowl full of warm water and bicarbonate of soda. Didn't give her a Piriton...had no discomfort at all

    P.s i'm not having a go, I've just never come across a spaniel that gets sickened by cover. Even with eyes puffy, rips and cuts they still want more. In my experience like.

    Mine always hit every bit of cover regardless of what's in there and work all day without falter. Granted they're shattered come home time but that's to be expected...
