  5. Nearly all of my jobs have been utter shite but the worst was packing packets of crisps into boxes and squeezing each bag to check they weren't burst 12 hour shifts as well. The straw that broke the camels back was being taken from my box packing job and left on a series of massive silos with each individual flavour bag coming down. No one told me how to stop them, how to shift the bags down the hatch quicker or anything....just told to "watch these"....so i did...but eventually i noticed them building up so tried my best to push them down quicker but it wasn't working ...the bloke came

  10. This is going to go well lol You'd think a person suspended for telling me to 'sfu' would have a bit more sense than dish out an insult with his second post back eh? ffs
  11. When you're young you think feck it what's the worse than can happen, thinking you're invincible but then when you actually see some of the stuff you've described i'm sure it would change anyones outlook. Just glad you got out alive!

  13. We had an office/workshop in Nigeria and they had a dispute very similar. Unfortunately the 'hard ass' who sacked the union members went home on his time off and his replacement was assassinated at the front gates, shot at close range. I worked in Algeria for many years amongst other places and when I look back on how dangerous it was it makes me shudder. I'm with you on not doing stuff like that anymore including working in the North Sea. Not many people have good things to say about working the North Sea like!! Is it really that dodgy? It's an age thing I suppose. Once
  14. Tom Daley is said to be going to abstain from sex before any major competitions. A gaping arse would whistle on the way down.

The best bit was i'd got my brother and a couple of mates jobs there so it was a right boys night out, boss paid for a meal out and drinks so we loaded up on the drink early doors, had a crack on with the boss then hit the town legless, good times!
  16. Mine wasn't even a near death experience anyway, just got cut off by the tide and had to wade through water up to my tits....my arse wasn't nipping, honest...
