You make a good point I've never really thought of before, with all the bull blood floating around in the terrier genepool it seems odd you don't get the odd buckskin or brindle terrier popping up

Both parents just have to carry the gene for white. I've had almost a whole litter of all white pups from a brindle bitch and black dog, was a shock to see them come out.

Foxes round here have got so brave through people feeding them that they don't even run and hide when you approach them with dogs. Sit their arse down in the middle of the path and just stare as my dogs lunge and bark at them, been saying for ages that it's going to lead to attacks on small kids

I'd say the difference there is that the pups are exercising at their own pace, resting when they feel the need. The danger with jogging a pup too young is it's all too easy for an inexperienced owner to not read the pup well and push it too far too soon.

Never had a problem with any dog I've ever owned. Dog should feed off your reactions, if you never make a big deal out of them they'll never bother a well socialised confident dog.

I bought a wee Stafford as a watchdog for my mam from some digging boys down in Cork a few years ago always thought he showed a bit of the white stuff in him, could certainly sneak him into a JRT line without the offspring raising too many eyebrows.

I'm lucky enough to have land that's safe to free run my dogs on to build wind, obviously mills have their place for the more urban dogman but I'll always prefer the more natural methods.

Knew an old lad who used something similar to condition his bulls, he said it was better than the your usual slatmill but mills have never interested me, much rather be out pounding pavement building that bond while conditioning.

If you're looking for a bit of craic while exercising your pet staff bashing a few rabbits and foxes would be ideal but if you're looking for a serious worker there's literally 100s of breeds/types that would do a better job at it

yh the real reason I want a bull x is to look hard you f****n prick, I currently run a 19" first x bedlington whippet bitch for rabbits a 26" inch collie grey bitch for rabbits and kwiker stuff but theres alot of game around here that neither of these can do so I am in NEED of a good strong dog so was thinking about breeding some for purpose and hav the piece of mind knowing exactly there make up insted of searching for months and months maybe to only get something I still wasnt fully happy with, if I wanted to just look "ard innit" I wouldve first come and got some lessons from you and then w

Why would you use a pet to try and make working dogs? The fact you call it a "red nose pit" tells me everything I need to know. Shit bred "pit bulls" (that are more likely some kind of god awful mash up of various bull breeds with red noses cos they look well 'ard init) that haven't seen a box in generations have no business being used to breed working dogs.

why do they want different referendums? Why not just go full out repeal. Back to the way it was preban, not some settlement with all rules bullshit to keep the antis happy? Because if they came out and said they'd totally repeal the hunting ban it'd alienate some of their voters and stop them being all things to all people.
