I wouldn't call for wholesale nationalisation but surely they could look at things on an individual basis and step in and back out as required? The capability and skills we'll loose if the industry goes from these shores are priceless, so what if we chuck a couple of billion quid "down the drain" to keep them. Take the current situation with Russia for instance. Yeah we currently got unlimited access to cheap Chinese steel, but who knows what the future holds. We could get into a situation quite easily where we were denied açcess to it. Then you can think about the way the big supermarke

was it that bloke down the pub ? where's he gone ?what happens if you take your mums dog out for walk she doesn't know you poaching ? dog will get confiscated same, you get charged same, plus you get your ass kcked by your mother when she's told that you had her dog confiscatedso why if you drive your mothers car with out insurance the have to give it bak to her and can't keep it That's bollocks, they'll seize it and your mother will be paying to get it out of the impound yard Might be different if she says she never gave you permission to take it, but then you're getting done for

Friendly bitey growl

You've got her address so if she doesn't pay take the slag to court You might want to get a police report as proof of the attack happening though...

If you get a reputation for good quality folk will travel to get to you and word spreads fast when a decent new cafe/chippy opens in an area.

I can see why you'd use them if like Marcos you've got to worry about venomous snakes, safety has to come before comfort But using them if you don't have that particular worry just scream laziness to me, they're the same as those mesh bottomed rabbit hutches meat breeders use, cuts down on cleaning time at the expense of the animals comfort. Saying they're "cleaner" than a traditional kennel is bullshit, a slab bottomed kennel that can be swilled out daily is going to be 1000x cleaner than wooden slats that have piss and shite soaked into them.

Fair play to you for putting this up matey.......here is a little story I was listening to radio 4 the other year and they had this series on about old traditional songs and the memories some people had associated with them. A welsh lad came on and started to tell a story and there was this really mournful song playing in the background being sung in welsh. He said that him and a pal were driving along the road and his pal said "that mountain has just moved!"........and sure enough as he looked the whole hill was slipping down. He pulled off the road and drove down to see if he could he

It'd be drafty as feck surely and I'd worry about a leg slipping between the slats... Definitely not my cup of tea at all.

My pal owns a couple down on the coast near Brighton and he says it's like printing money in the summer, more than enough to keep them comfortable through the slower months. You do need to get a good reputation though, competition is fierce in most towns.

Bloody good tip is that

Well I never thought I'd see the day, I'm in 100% agreement with max

So defense industry steel etc is safe? Fair enough, steel a bad do though
-
Am I right in saying this is Britain's steel making capability completely finished? 100% reliant on foreign imports from now on? I can't see how that's good for the country
-
Aye you need a fecking degree to repair them these days
-
Whack it with a hammer

How an they produce it for cheaper and we English cannot tho that's what I don't understand State subsidies. They're also selling at a loss at the moment just to keep the furnaces running I think? Don't know why anyone is surprised, another Tory government, another British industry killed.
-
No I wouldn't dream of stealing someone's van they rely on to get to work Did you just borrow it to clean up the mess you made in the lane?
-
Cushty you seem to know an awful lot about it. Were you in Monmouth this evening?

That's the same stamp as my mates dog but he was the classic tan colour. Shame they don't all look like that these days, much more impressive looking animal than the piles of skin that are popular today.
-
My mate had a Shar-pei that looked like the fighting type really lean with very little wrinkle at all, no idea if it was a throwback, import or just a crossbreed but it was some animal, easily as athletic as my bulldogs and just as much of demon with other dogs.
-
The fighting type Shar-pei doesn't even have the loose skin to such an extreme, just a few folds on the head and neck. The really wrinkled "meat mouth" type was always just a fancy looking pet.

They are a dominant breed but aren't human aggressive, infant the Japanese used to leave their children with them home alone and to babysit. They are calm dogs so a bit of rough child's play isn't going to bother them in the slightest, every Akita our family has owned as required minimal socialisation and have been great with people. They can be terrible though with other dogs of the same sex that don't submit to their dominance, luckily our current dog is ok but the one before was deadly with other dogs of the same sex. I think you don't give yourself enough credit when it comes to trainin

Didn't want to let a little thing like a broken leg ruin the night what a legend
