That's some good news pal hopefully other areas with BSL follow Melbourne's example I did laugh at the first line of the article though, as if there isn't 100s of pit bulls on the streets of Melbourne already regardless of the law -
But the church is the voice and home of Christianity.surely if you believe in christianity you would be interested in listening and believing what the church has to say. I know quite a few Christians who have grown disillusioned with the Church over the years with all the scandals and the "modernisation" etc, in fact I dare say there's a couple in this very thread. It doesn't effect their own personal relationship with God it just means they practice it more privately, all they need is the Bible they don't need some nonce in the pulpit telling them how to interpret it.

The Church and Christianity are seperate things though, you can have faith and believe in the Christian God while not wanting to have anything to do with any kind of organised Church. Folk that try and downplay or cover up the crimes of the Catholic Church should be rightfully condemned as the nonce defending scum they are though.

I have to disagree with you there Wilf, check out the earlier god threads and compare them to the few latter threads, there is a distinct shift in attitude. I may disagree with Francie but I will never decry his faith. To be honest I admire people who have faith like that, It's just that I cannot rationalise it to myself, too many if, ands and but's for me, I like demonstrable. Do I think religion helps some people? Hell yes. Do I think religion would help me? Hell no. Give it a go pal Krav Maga is actually quite good for fitness training as far as combat sports go and if that's the sort of thing you enjoy you're more likely to stick at it and that's the most important thing

Yep and every dog with a couple of scars was used as a "bait dog" by dogfighters.... Fair play to the lads that helped rescue the terrier even if the owner was a bit of an ignorant twat. -

there is/was a lane on Burnley rd from Bacup out towards Burnley called pit bull lane or something very similar. Was told it's a very old name. When I enquired about the name to my friends dad and he explained... It was the first time I ever heard about the dog/baiting pits of yesteryear, I was about six or so ? So I'm guessing that the name pit bull isn't an American invention Of course it isn't, they were already being called pit bull terriers when they were first imported to America, there's newspaper ads etc that show that. I bet that lane has been renamed now... -
In a council by-election where the Labour candidate was very vocally anti-Corbyn... His massive grassroots support is a fact pal, whether that's enough to win elections or not remains to be seen.

Has to be from a vet pal it's prescription only, think it's pretty much the same price at all vets but might be worth shopping around your local ones, some of them will do deals on bulk buys
