Colour makes no diffrence got 3 diffrent colour lurchers my blue pup I didnt pick was last one avaliable for a well bred little was just happy to get my hands on her and my second pup was also well bred all the pups were well looked after so let the misses decide I do prefer black terriers though

I got a bitch thats 12 months and was always switched on from a young age new exactly what her nose was for and always worked hard but the dog pup I got is 6 months and hasnt got a care in the world some days he will look for rabbits other days he would rather chase and play with the other dogs some mature early some late

My uncle has always worked dogs and I always loved being around them hes very old school and forgot where most his permission is in the old days he would just turn up and ask so basically started from scratch its a long hard road but theres no chance of me stopping

I just mooch the same as usual meet up with a few of the lads had a walk and a chat if something gets up wont see me shouting at the dogs to stop haha as if that would work haha

Cut a long story short took my pup for a look she went over the brow i run over slipped and the connector snapped

it's the hunting gods getting there own back for lamping out of season lol . i know it's hard not to take a pup but sometimes it's bettter toi give a place a rest and the rabbits will be less educated and easyer for the pup in the long run. but thats just my opinion butt . you do what you gotta

Haha shes not bad you just use to hear you treat them soft they would jib on teeth pre ban of course haha that bitch is 12 months now dont think she will ever grow up haha and dont start with my beddy bull grey pup hes even worse!!!!

Thats what I thought it will affect there drive but it hasnt me and that blue pup have a very good bond she wont leave the kennel when my uncle try to leave her out she wont go only when im about she will come out shes a very much a one man dog and I like that I find bitches are much more affectionate whens shes hunting she always checks where I am and carries on I think thats why on the lamp shes never hunted up and her retrieving has never been a proberlm looking forward to our furture !!

I love a lurchers temperment to be layed back around the kennels and completely switched on in the feild my misses is always treating the dogs like babbies drives me around the bend but doesnt affect the dogs hunting skills anyone elses views on the dogs being babied by the misses?
