    Thats what I thought it will affect there drive but it hasnt me and that blue pup have a very good bond she wont leave the kennel when my uncle try to leave her out she wont go only when im about she will come out shes a very much a one man dog and I like that I find bitches are much more affectionate whens shes hunting she always checks where I am and carries on I think thats why on the lamp shes never hunted up and her retrieving has never been a proberlm looking forward to our furture !!

    I love a lurchers temperment to be layed back around the kennels and completely switched on in the feild my misses is always treating the dogs like babbies drives me around the bend but doesnt affect the dogs hunting skills anyone elses views on the dogs being babied by the misses?

    A couple of boys told me they use to have a whippet for lamping foxes just to catch his when they called him in and let a bullx go after to dispatch the fox pre ban not sure how true

    Dont think its just the name iv never heard a lad disappointed when they have been to mike and the stuff I seen is very impressive to say the least I dont need a whippet for the work I do it just wouldnt suit me but if I wanted one thats where id be heading no doubt about it

    My bitch xena would happly have two or three of her about great worker drives me crazy sometimes think shes being lazy but if ssomething is about she has usually put it up and caught it good on the lamp around the kennel very layed back

    Went out for a little lamp last night just to get the pup jumping in the dark to get her ready for septemeber so I gave her a few runs to help her spotting in the long grass shes 12 months she neess a bit of fur in her month she caught to confidence up off home put the rabbits in my rucksack left them in the car went in this morning one the little fcukers has shit all over my car took me 20 minutes to catch him while my parents watched laughing like school kids haha

    5 months old now doesnt leave me side most the time caught his first day time rabbits in cover this week
