It's easy to think of saluki crosses just as coursing dogs what with all the matching,forley cups,and fen talk yes they are the best for all that but they have no problem working like any other cross,my dogs are more than half saluki,they have worked fur and feather day and night,and for the 3 seasons that I worked them to fox it was very rare for them to miss one I am not knocking them as a breed, everyman to his own, i kept a line and worked them on teeth and they suited me .is saluki blood the right way to go to the ultimate all rounder.

  10. every body has got different taste i mostly run big rabbits but my dog takes rabbit with ease, runs the beam if i feel like having a lamp,would go into anything i pointed him at, and mostly runs day defo not a one trick pony, dont be fooled buy the feather lol Thanks for your honesty saluki grey have you seen any other x;s work ,how would you compare them, have you seen a deerhound x work, how about a colliex. What made you choose the saluki.

    put some sand paper down Thanks pip, i will put a good rough sandpaper on the bottom of the hole that i cut in the door,, so the little shits cut the arse off themselves.lol God love the little swallows.

    My swallows came back today, i call them mine because i let them use the garage and have cut a hole in the sliding door for them to fly in and out and SHIT all over my tools in the shed,,,, jesus they might be small but they could shite for ireland.
  22. I see you posted it was an old injury mooney, and what was the outcome?, not too many lurchers with that kind of injury ,, every dog is different in its recovery from an injury like that, it would be hard to comment.
  23. 18 months for me too they should be fairly filled out by that stage.
