I've never fished for Carp myself mate, though it's hard to beat fishing with the kids in the good weather and showing them the ropes. Seeing them catch more or bigger fish makes it even better. Great crack and no better feeling.

That's what we use to drink on Fridays after school A bottle off buckfast down the neck and 3 litres off that gear to swally afterwards, has any human being in fine form my friend. Tried and tested. I Bet u didn't do that after school. : )) And i bet you couldn't walk, talk or even say your name after that lot.............. That's my usual carryout if I'm going round to a mates house for a drink. It does me and im ok mostly lol.. if I'd have drunk it in my schooldays when younger now that would be a different story.

The only time I read off spanning a terrier is on this site. Then there's dog shows/game fairs etc were judges would span terriers !!! Ive never seen a Terrier being spanned by someone in a persons yard or in the field for that matter??? So I'd love somebody to explain to me what that's all about. Take from that what you wish. Atb.

My cousin had one only better than the one in the pic, horses and hounds but only the foxes tail right down too his arse bone. Unfortunately he's not around anymore to take a pic for yous. He got it done in 8 different sittings at £150 each time and that's going back a few years. He kept fox dogs for years but funny enough he changed and was a hare man and keep salukis till the day he died !!! Ha ha. If you got one done with lurchers chasing the fox would that not count as " doubling up " ??? ( whistle ) lol

Why would anyone go to a peddler for a pup anyway ??? Would you not be safer breeding a few dogs that you and your mates work together. That way you know the pups are from good honest working parents and your not forking out big doe to some wanker that's gonna fill you full off shite and give you a Labrador x Pitbull pup with a pigtail. Lol -

I remember knocking a fox to ground one day with hounds. A 3 eyed rabbit burrow Charlie hit for safety. The hunt lad tried his Russell, to no avail, his mate tried his Russell/border bitch after. Hoking and poking etc. never made much effort IMO. Only because a young lad seen Charlie break from the cover and hit the ground and had no reason to lie !! I walked back to the van. 15" b&t unspannable lakie/Russell dog, collared up & In and digging on, every inch was like 5+ mins, he got there after an hour off digging on,,bit by bit and met a decent fox banged up tight as a result.
