Thank you, and wellcome to the forum Nicola!. Postscript, Just been on Gun Star and theres a Lincon Jeffries early model Bayonet underlever rifle the precurser of the model D BSA going for £350 quid. Dont let that gun go to a shop Nic!.
-
I am pretty sure its a model D BSA which was the follow on from the Lincoln Jeffries patented rifle, Those guns were about from Pre War One!! in fact most if not all bell target teams shot those rifles in the 1920,s onward. It is of course a underlever and the loading was done via the rotating tap, Ala the later Airsporters. To check the airtightness of the loading tap Cock the rifle open the tap then STILL HOLDING the underlever pull the trigger and return the underlever to the barrel, if the tap is sound it will take a few seconds bafore the underlever locks up. if the tap is worn and leak

A Hunters Review of the SMK TH208 .22
Tron replied to milegajo's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Good review and write up Mike,I found nothing in your impression of the rifle being more than it was, some of the comments were more than unfair, doubters should realise you didnt claim amazing performance or power over huge distances, the problem with air weapons is like cameras, some people believe if its not the most expensive then it cant be any good!. keep up the good work, if doubters dont believe your statements then tough, who cares? they dont pay your way through life Give them the mental finger. Good luck. -
Books, just a thought, are you quite sure they dont mean you need a Test certificate for your bottle?? I ask because what the shops are saying isnt a legal requirment at all.. If you are a adult with a bottle in test then whats their problem? Please give me the diving shops phone number (By PM) and I will investigate your complaint directly.

Do you mean a bolt, or handle?

Nice pro set up there Bud, well done.

Bit of an innane post really, but I was just going through the members list looking for a mate on here. I came across a fellow who joined here over three years ago. in that time he has made- 22 posts. made me laugh because his name is-The Author. obviously suffering from writers block! No offence meant by my comment, and no woodies, or rabbits were hurt during this post!

Paulus, Hiya Bud, Alas I dont even know how to do that, and am afraid I would wipe them all off, but thanks for your advice, Funny really, I am a time served toolroom turner, have been in to shooting for over 60 years, have owned and shot all kinds of weapons over those years and untill a couple of months ago been repairing all kinds of airguns Springers, CO2, Pump ups,Precharged. never been stuck on stripping/repairing/any. and yet I dont know bugger all about PC,s. even one of my grandsons can do anything on a PC unfortunatly he isnt local and works many miles from me, otherwise Ime sure

Morning all, Dave I allready have that microsoft program running, The last time I had my pc repaired the technician installed -Malware antibytes-antimalware version...and also--Superantispyware free program as well. both these refuse to be removed as well!. Unfortunatly I am a old bloke now and dont understand most of the terminology required to carry out most of the sound advice you fellers have suggested, I did say from the off that I am a PC numpty ,. So I have decided to take my PC in tomorow and ask if he can save my photographs of family events and holidays, then ask him to fit a new ha

Probally Sam, Its UK legislation laws unfortunatly, You can see its to stop people playing about and perhaps causing severe injururies to themselves and other people by fiddling with guns especially precharged weapons most running at over 3000lbs per square inch of pressure, I remember when PC weapons first came available the number of numpties that used to scrap their cylinders by drilling straight through the forends of their rifles into the cylinders! just to fix a sling stud! that dont apply to pump up guns of course. The most common cause of loss of power is caused by owners altering

Thanks Mr Mole, If its exactly the same a simple job to get it to 11.1/2 FPE. but the valve operation was crap on the original Innova, big mistake being a blow off instead of a knock open valve ass, very accurate gun the old model.
-
Take it you have not bought one then? What a c**t.
-
Unless I am mistaken it looks like the gun is a updated copy of a Sharp Innova! The action and breech assembly looks the same.

ghillies, I dont think so but you might be correct, I defraged it yesterday and it said--capacity-74.52......free space-56.54...%%%%%free space-75%... I havent really got a lot of stuff downloaded So I thought those figures meant I had plenty of capacity left? or am I talking rollocks again?? Cheers.
-
Yep its about £17.00 for next day delivery to a RFD then the RFD sticks £20. to £25 quid on top just to hand it over!. The cheapest way is the way I suggested,

The best way for you is to get one of the long time posters on here who live pretty local to Sanwell Sporting Supplies to collect it boxed up and post it to you direct, I live too far away otherwise I could have done that. Ask on the forum for someone who is willing to do so, REMBER MAKE SURE ITS someone who is A local, and B is Known to Tony Wall. Good luck.

Had to remove the Norton 360 download yesterday allmost froze the pc completely.Took my PC to be sorted and found the tech guy off till Friday. went into Start, right clicked. then into programs , took off many entries, was not able to remove AVG, and the restore function is still not working but I have managed to restore sound to videos,Still dont have a clue really what I am doing, but at least its working and I can post and look into different threads allthough it still keeps freezing which is bloody annoying having to switch off then on. thanks to you all for your advice on the matter, Che

Yes Mate, Tony Wall the guy to talk to does some excellent conversions on the HW range of rifles, There are quite a few members on here who have such rifles, give him a bell on--0121 520 2000. I have seen his work and its first class. PS, go for the 95K, super rifle with the world famous Rekord trigger. you wont regret it.
