If you remove the barrel after slacking off the two grub screws that retain it then you might have even more problems to contend with, the breech end of the barrel has to be perfectly aligned with the transfer port in the receiver. unless you can mark the position of the barrel to the receiver before taking it out then you will replace it possibly out of line on reasembly. If your gun was allways spot on before being dipped then as others have said it sounds as if there is some paint found its way into the rifling at the muzzle end. Remember as well dont overtighten the barrel retaining grub

How powerful can a PCP airgun be made?
Tron replied to Laurence_13's topic in General Airgun Discussion
If you want to see just what is available in high power air rifles then Google "Dragon Claw air rifle". that is a .50 (1/2") bore gun that can be tuned to give nearly 300 F P E. shooting a 210g bullet! (cant really call it a pellet at that weight!) -

I have tried (with my limited knowledge of using a PC) of stopping further contact but it comes back there is no member named Mark Hoodless?.I cant say anything else really because there is a Police investigation into his activities going on and I have been asked to not make any further comments of his actions. if the mods cant stop him then I will have to remove myself from membership of this forum untill

Good Man Ryan, Believe me I was not trying to be a A** H**E in making my comments as you know I have first hand experience of the pitfalls of falling foul of the savage laws made in the granting of section one and two licences by the various Police Authorities in England,( I say England because I dont know if there is any changes made in Scotland or Northen Ireland). ATBest, Tron. -

Yes I am aware of that but their advert dosent make that clear rather I, or someone else clarifies the advert before someone makes a mistake and gets himself, or others to lose their ticket. ATB. -

Remember Guys to use only wads made for steel shot. If you are using USED wads from lead loaded cartridges you will damage your barrels beyond repair, both the forcing and choke cones will be wrecked after a short time of firing. Cheers, Tron.

Hiya Ryan, I see you are advertising your work for Firearms and Shotguns too. You are, I hope a RFD licence holder because as you know If you are not, yourselves, and any licenced gun holder who forewards such a weapon is breaking the law big time. I ask because I am thinking about having a .22 rimfire coated and your posting advice dosent make it plain Cheers, Tron. -
Yes Tony, those details have been noted I have just googled his name again and this forum is being reproduced and the comments being expressed, so watch what you are saying guys because the way some police act they will be pulling well wishers of this site if we arent carefull Thanks again. I have just put his address and postcode into google and it came up on Zoopla? saying 47 Swallow crescent was sold last October for £120,grand! so is he still there or was he the one who sold it? as he gets his scams paid by Bank transfer he could well be living anywhere really. It was a new type of mobile phone which the guy said his firm had replaced for a even later model, said phone was fetching about £300 secondhand and his was still as new, I offered to pay him on my sons behalf by Paypal but he said he hadnt got a account anyway and he would only accept bank transfer to Halifax Bank, the bank wont divulge the scammers address even though my bank account is with the local Halifax branch. I thought about seying I would change banks in protest but their hands are tied by private data laws. I can only hope one of the dozens of guys he has robbed works him over.

new to pcp need help
Tron replied to pro extreme hunter's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Increasing the barrel length on a PCP will give more power within reason, IE, replacing a AA400 series Carbine barrel with one from a Classic can put up the power quite a bit. only downside is the extra length making it a bit unwieldy in the field or a hide,by comparison shortening a springer barrel makes no real difference to velocity again within reason. Edit for spelling mistake.
