just copied from the bbc news website, bit of a turn up. nice to see a bit of consistency, all though i doubt it will get as much coverage as the white woman, or a jail sentence..... Woman held over racist bus rant A woman has been arrested on suspicion of making racist comments after police examined footage of a woman on a bus. The 34-year-old was arrested on Tuesday at an address in Hackney, east London, on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence, police said. It comes after footage of a black woman in a distressed state proclaiming her African heritage

Not all of them are veggies no. i dont have that many people close to me that object to fieldsports (thankfully), but the odd ocassion its come up through work i've encountered a fair few that openly critise all forms of fieldsports (fishing included !). there are a fair few of these ones that truely believe that mass produced protein's in this country are having a better deal because they are stunned before bleeding to death (halal accepted). They argue that the industry is regulated and humane as possible, hunting being the polar opposite. i've been in the meat industry from retail throug

Good cross for mooching ferreting couldn't goo wrong with beddy x whippet good wee dogs for bunnies . i've been mulling it over for good 12 months now lol, determined to make the right choice. got me pants pulled down buying my patt 4 yrs ago price wise, pure naivety on my part and rushed into it , cracking little companion though she's turned out to be, wouldn't swap her for all the tea in china.

i'm in pretty much the same situation, dog wise, but looking to do a bit more mooching and ferreting. i've been looking at the bedlington crosses, both grey and whipp, 3/4 to the sighthound mix i'm thinking.

The winner! -
saw it last night for the 1st time after my mate was on about it. well put together program i thought. simon whitehead did a good PR job for ferreting too paticularly liked the point he made about the general publics perception of the badger as a cuddly story book character, when the reality is that they are the top of the woodland food chain, in his words "the lion equivalant of the woods" !

i fish the Severn regularly through the season (going tomorrow for a few days), the river has been unfishable for the most part this season. the fish have been showing but just not in great numbers, i've heard of a hand full of doubles but mostly around the 7lb mark. had a 14lb common 2 weeks ago from just under bridgnorth....hadn't heard of them that far up before, went like the clappers with a flooded river behind it.

the top breeders normally have them hip and eye tested, this then relates to a score (vets preform this). the one i had was pretty bomb proof though to be honest, have to give the coats regular attention as they do harbour ticks and can cover knocks picked up when working. cancer of the nose and throat finished him.(aged 10) he was great dog, very trainable, loyal , great with kids and bags of energy, he'd take a walk over his food all day long. RIP sheepo.
