    i read this last night and immediately clocked who the very generous new knife maker was, pete sutcliffe!! lol. i find your posts have done nothing but encourage folk on this section to have a go, only time i've known you play things close to your chest was the meteorite pattern bit, and as i said at the time completely understandable, even peter sutcliffe wanted to know how to do that one !!! you take time to explain things and thats the main reason you've got such a good rep on here, not just the fact that your blanks have been bang on technically (when they havent you've said so) and dirt

    i've heard a few conflicting opinions too, 1 vet told me that if you get the bitch spayed before season 2/3 that there was evidence to suggest that the likelihood of ovarian cancer was reduced, another said that it didn't really make any difference! both agreed that it was best practice to wait untill after the 1st season, and neither mentioned the risk you stated and the research i did on the net didnt mention that. i do know that some owners i personally know have incontinence issues with some of the larger breeds following the op, my terrier (pat), has been absolutely fine on that score,

    The guy on rogue traders got done for benefit claiming whilst he was working on the tv show. How long did he get? But whats that got to do with motorbike riders? O god its not just me is it? pip you dont know whats going on either do you no i was ready to slash me wrists i was waitng for a wind up he use to ride a bike in the show, he got 12 weeks in the clink.

    got ya , i use a Mora for general work, you can get them with a scabbard for around a tenner. cracking knives and easy to keep an edge, loads of places sell em online.

    As has been said there are some sound lads on this part of the forum who will provide advice and point you in the right direction for materials , tools , blanks.....everything you need basically. lots of stuff is sitting in threads all ready, search function is your friend oh yeah....LIDL have got a tidly little bench sander and grinder in store from sunday onwards this week, might be just what you need to get started, right money an all, it's on the LIDL website.
