the whole area surrounded by arable fields plenty to go at on windy nights out lamping, its just a quick opertunity for the dog to pick the odd one up so would never look at it as a waste of time, dogs running them good enough for me like i say not productive but there you go cheers

the owners are there everyday with couple terriers barking constantly throughout lessons being given to riders, yes they show bit of interest in the dog but very well used to them although did have a mate lose a dog years ago to a swift kick,my bitch tends to steer clear but get your point cheers

just wondered if any of you run these little paddocks can be good bit sport for my little bitch, quick off the mark and fully committed right into the fence line. not productive for numbers obviously lucky to get a couple runs but ferreting out the question busy footpath the other side of fence, done it once years ago complete drama, pet dogs running everywhere carrying rabbits being chased by frustrated owners nice little area for using the air-rifle though, plenty surrounding cover to tuck into. shite vid on my mobile but you get the idea cheers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b15aqkl

Bedlington Whippet Greyhound For Bushing
squab replied to born2hunt81's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
the choice is your but id want something small around 22tts and quick off the mark for bushing, around my area miles and miles of hedgerows so rabbits dont tend to break across fields just further up the hedge dog needs to be quick for a short burst to catch them, suits me although we all different cheers -
eat the fooker :laugh:yes that is the preferred method as all the tips i was given to stop it failed miserably Untill a few weeks ago I would have suggested the pot as well. But, We tried filling some eggshells with Mustard, cayenne pepper and anything 'hot' from the kitchen cupboard. We instantly went up to 6 eggs the next day, then 3 days later 10 out of our 10 hens! Now we are consistantly getting 7 or 8 a day, so think we've 'cured' it! Wouldn't have believed it if I had been told about it, but it worked for us fair play but to be honest i was already fed up with it,if id

perhaps one of the chickens is the culprit, common enough to end up with an egg eater amongst them and a b*****d to stop once they got the taste for it although there are few methods you can try to put a stop to it.
