Advice On Buying Adult Dogs At This Time Of Year.
miss the fox replied to Floyd17586's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
not all dogs being sold are gonna be dirt, there is many a man due to financial difficulties end up with no other choice than to part some dogs. some people may have pups showing enough signs which also may make them part a dog as they may feel like they will not get enough work for them. so you have a chance of buying decent. but if it was me i would buy a pup and if your stuck for hunting dog buy a working dog too, to tie you over til the pup is starting. -

they tell me now that county antrim is coming down with rabbits you may look in the fields when your driving round it lol. also as its places to hunt your after, i don't think there is many farmers on here as that is who can give you permission. do what everyone else does drive round ask a few farmers find a few spots. -

miss the fox replied to appleblossom's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
instead of signing names on the bottom of quotes, i think its ur ages need stated. reading this has been like something u would hear in a playground. so grow up cause my dog is better than both ur dogs. lol -
put a fuse holder and fuse out of car on, they wont melt if shorting occurs which can save battery or lamp getting damaged, ive also had bulbs blow in past when i had no fuse because of a short occurring. so a fuse is alot cheaper to replace.

why waste that kinda dosh, when the standard lightforce lamps already do the job. only probs i have with lightforce lamps is wiring always breaks were it goes in at handle. so even the new striker i bought last season for lamping out the window the 1st thing i did was put a lead off an electrical appliance on it which has much thicker copper in each wire. when holding my lamp switched on next to a striker with original lead on it, mine puts out better light.

hanging or lethal injection is too quick for peados, put them in the pillory and stone them to death. i will throw the 1st stone, that would teach the dirty b######s right. that is what they need instead our government would protect them, say they have mental problems, put them in a mental home then give them a council house and give them a life of luxury and they end up doing it again cause their sick c###s who think no-one can touch them because they are protected by police. and the same police would arrest an ordinary decent person if we told the police were to go or for other stupid things

u were out 3 night ago and you were slipping at foxes, when does your season start or have you even quit since last season. Your dogs would prove plenty killing cubs.

Your choice and it is always good to have a choice provided. If you think it is better for terriers, lurchers and whippets not to be part of the fair like the other sports such as shooting, angling etc then that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. BUT so long as we have terriers, llurchers and whippet competitions at our fairs they will be an integral part of them with first class facilities inside, good prize funds, good judges and be part of our PR and advertising. We view the terrier & lurcher fraternity as an integral and normal part of the whole country sports commun

Ireland Irish Game Fair at Shanes - Prizes
miss the fox replied to AlbertJ's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
well i mustn't know what] i am doing, even though all i meant was that even if the pup only ever had its teeth into a couple of quarry it wud already be more of a "working dog" than most of the dogs that you see in the ring. and pups not getting placed cause of injuries cause of hard ground, not round ere the place is a swamp cause of the rain we get, i will be watching( in the puppy classes) out for the lame, hop along pups that shouldnt of bin allowed out of the kennel til they were 2 year old. most of the dogs in the ring are show ponies, what odds if they are, if thats what their owners r -

id say alot of the pups the genuine hunting folk have at the shows even though they r under than a year they would already of bin in more green fields than the (rosette chasing) dogs in the other classes!!! and what chance would the pup have in the final, prob none. why should it not be allowed to compete against so called working dogs, are they testing the dogs on quarry or is it not basically just about looks e.t.c. your trying to say all the dogs in the show are working. most of them ive seen must be on the dole or else their getting D.L.A.
