When you consider the entrance fee of other "gamefairs" ie Selby, the CLA gamefair, at £20 for advance tickets, is a bargin.

Putting a price on a dog to "make sure it has got a good home" or "stop idiots wanting one" is nonsense. Go and have a look in Battersea dogs home and see the £800-1000 Dobermans', dogue de Bordeaux ,bulldogs etc etc that people have given up on. No price guarantees a good home.

I used some Swarovski 8 x42 whilst stalking red hinds in Scotland last November and they were fantastic, better than anything I had seen through before. Unfortunately I cannot run to £1000 + for binoculars. I have just bought my dad a pair of vortex diamondbacks' for general bird watching and for the money, £130 from sportsman gun centre, they are brilliant and have a unlimited lifetime guarantee. Not Swarovski quality, obviously, but 10 times cheaper.

Give her time to settle in first. A couple of nights with you before letting her off the lead is no time to bond. They all hunt, its stopping them when you want them to stop that is the training part.
