    cats are free spirits in the eyes of the law and the owners have no legal responsibility for them. Dogs are chattels and the owner is responsible for its actions. The Law is an ass - just for a change!

    I can empathise with the OP, but advertising here for permissions wanted is like walking into a post office and asking for sprouts. You'd have more luck on here asking to come along as a guest than asking for permission from permission holders. Atb Duncan

    through the scope, yes. Different shaped heads. Pest control is pest control, but not all of my permissions are busting a gut to clear as many rabbits as possible. On some of my permissions I cull as many as I can and don't discriminate as the owners want them gone. On others they aren't such a problem and numbers just have to be kept reasonably sensible. Horses for courses. Actually, given recent rabbit droughts round here, its been nice to have some to go at again

    Have you looked behind the fridge? Most things that get lost can often be found lurking behind the fridge. Apart from odd socks of course - they go off to the odd sock planet. Must be getting crowded up there now

    Depends on the land and the owner really. But if I've got a choice in range of my rifle, through the scope I'll choose a buck over a doe this time of year. As has been said, some permissions are zero tolerance. Not nice, but its part of life.

    I believe my offer of an outing was deleted after the site went down, however... I'll post a video in the next few weeks of me shooting at 100 metres with my mates .22lr CZ. I believe he has both CCI subs and Remington subs (so not the best by mosts standards). I'll shoot a number of 5 round groups, and the video will be unedited to show I'm not sneaking up and pushing a pencil into the target. The video will be taken by an iPhone but if I can't upload it I'll gladly send it by mobile (pm). I appreciate your efforts - as said I'm looking forward to trying someones rig who can
