  1. If you are ever up my way in North Bucks, you can have a mooch round my permissions - have some woods too and knocking squirrels out of trees gives me a real primeval satisfaction
  2. I think I speak for most Englishmen here when I eruditely and eloquently say, i wonder how these English 'c*nts' view you? Similarly, I would guess. How would you describe someone who is speaking english to his compatriots until you enter the room, and then switches to their own tongue to alienate/talk about you? Ignorant t*sser springs to mind. Or someone who constantly bad mouths the nation they've moved to and the inhabitants? Total t*sser who frankly should go back to their own wonderful bloody country, full of their own wonderful bloody countrymen! Why do the nations in the UK co
  3. You will find that the more you shoot the 97K, the better and sweeter it will shoot. Plus practise will inevitably improve your marksmanship! Cheers and good luck Duncan.
  4. PS - had a tx, but always fancied a Pro-Sport. I think they are a much better looking rifle. TBH though, I found my HW97K suited me better than the TX I had.
  5. i couldn't agree with you more - I still have my first pcp and it is no coincidence it is also my first .177, other than an ft tuned TX200. IMHO .22 springers go off much, much more sweetly than .177's. Duncan.
  6. Fitted a new scope to my HW100S the other day, zero'd it and 15 mins later nobbled a hat trick of tree rats. Having been shooting my new hmr (HW60J) lately and my CZ511 .22lr, it was nice to come back to the faithful air rifle and remember again just how effortlessly pinhole accurate it is. 1 hole groups at my preferred 37 yard zero range. Much easier than with the rimfire or hmr, mind you, a complete lack of recoil helps a bit!
  7. I couldn't agree with you more John. Personally, the phone would have been out of my pocket in a flash calling the old bill, the moment any firearm was waved even slightly in my direction. Intimidation with a firearm? This tosser should not have an FAC. Duncan.
  8. I bought some Hornady 20g semi hollowpoints too, not tried them yet though. Is there much difference in trajectory or grouping? I'd imagine they drop a bit faster. Cheers Duncan. PS whereabouts are you J J? I think I paid £15 for 50 of the 20g hornady stuff.
  9. If its a springer, I'd go .22 as the recoil is softer and more manageable and I'd keep hunting range down to about 35 yards, but if pcp i'd go .177 as they are recoilless and up my hunting range to about 45 yards (after lots of practise) due to flatter trajectory. D.
  10. Nor me anyway , gays use .22 ........... Grow up.
  11. Hi Folks, I'm looking to home 6 lovely country bred kittens of various colour schemes and coat lengths, free to good and loving homes. They are in N Bucks near Newport Pagnell. Please pm if interested, Cheers Duncan.
  12. A naturalised englishman. We have a resident welshman at work complaining about the english moving to wales and working. I called him a hypocrite. He thought for a second and said "fair enough".
  13. Apart from the empire, the trade and the wealth what else have they done?.....although I'm pretty sure it wasn't just the english involved., errr....the aquaduct?
  14. Wife says you're a cheeky f*cker I want to try it to make sure I like it first. No point going for the full investment if it doesn't float my boat. Anyway, she already bought me a Beretta Silver pigeon this year D.
  15. Whereabouts in Bucks Oli? You could come out lamping etc with me if you fancy
  16. lol it was round about then i switched off Me too dude!
  17. Simply put he is a prize arsehole, and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw his ego
