here im answering you now .i just had a visitor at my home .i didnt actually work in the pit .but here it goes my passion for the welsh miners goes back to when my great grandfather got killed underground in blackwood .his name george william hemmings .he was killed in a cave in .and trapped under stone that broke his back .he was my mothers grandfather . my mothers father as well as working underground also was a farmer and died from dust in his mid sixties .my mothers eldest brother was in six bells when the roof came in .my uncle was num official at six bells during the strike ,and my mothe
