What ways do you guys muscle your dogs up apart from running them. Need to beef my bitch up a but as I feel she lacks a bit of power when running.

Just got a bitch if a mate to run the rest of the season a I think it's about to come into heat, if that's the case then the seasons ended for me.

When viewing a litter and picking a pup for earth work Is there anything you look for in the pups appearance wise, head size etc and what about temperament. Do you pick the dominant pup or the most playful. I know it's what's inside that counts but just wondered if any of you's have a preference and how did they turn out?

Try to find somebody local to show you them working mate and make your own mind up I had a beddy whippet as my first lurcher years ago. Had a good nose but would dissapear for ages. Since then it was collie and saluki crosses but have always said I would like another lurcher with beddy in it or a 1st cross to add a bit of fire

If you were to put say a first cross collie greyhound over a 1st cross beddy greyhound would the pups still have the speed of a 1st cross or is it this stage you start to see differences in the litter?
