    Its a whippet racing event Think it will run every weekend through the summer if im right? Youll probably pay a couple of quid...throw your dog down the track a few times and stand talking shiite most of the day

    Aye... The f..k the ban collars look like your trying too hard After being disappointed with an expensive collar i bought for my whippet.... I just bought a cheap one for the lurcher... Think i got the dog and hare one.....

    Why fcuking bother at all? Years ago i used to set a few snares in likely spots and check them every day. Twice a day if i could. Loved every minute of it...the fieldcraft involved.... Now they want you to mark your snares so baghead jonny knows where they are to nick them.... And put your id number etc on them so when mrs smith from number 53 wants to complain about rabbits being snared on her morning jogging route..... the ARSEpca know whos door to come to.     Ive had collars from blackdog trading and for the price (cheap)....their work is really good. Mines seen some stick and abuse....and is going strong... Just got 2 of these due to the design being a good one... Also have house collars from boomerjack....but ill save them for another forum have a whippet collar from hide and collars...wont be buying again... i dont have one.. .but have seen loads of collars made by strongstuff....my mate swears by them.....and his gear is spot on All depends what you want out of a collar..... horses for courses and all that

    Only collar my youngster has had on apart from a house collar. For 8 quid and lined you cant complain. It doesnt get looked after tbh...never cleaned and is better quality than the 25pound one i have on my whippet. Id recommend them for an every day...shit taking collar

    The wee dog done well george The lure goes about 40mph + flat out im sure.... different weight lures affect the speed and so do turns due to the drag. We sometimes use turns and different lures. Also put a heavy blanket over the line just infront of the machine to keep the line tight on the spool and act as a cushion for the lure to stop. You 'drive it' meaning you feather the controll to keep it just infront of the dog thats running it

    My whippet would yap like feck if she was there only has to see the lure and shes off..... Great pics mate Scary sight watching the dogs hurtling straight for you with the lure running between your legs? Fox tails are 100% the best lure we have tried

    Seen a lion about 10 feet away from us sleeping on the back of a truck in kenya.....you think theyre big on tv...or behind a cage in a zoo....feck me..... Theyre bloody huge and scary as fcuk... especially when your surprised by them! Also seen hyena's quite close and theyre a beast of an animal too....

    Got a box racing muzzle here in white. Dogs never ran in it due to getting the wire ones instead. Whippet/ small lurcher size... Free pickup only. Midlothian. Will be at the whippet racing at kircaldy this saturday so can bring it along. Cheers

    Made this a while ago... Prefer to use the slip though collar method.... Was made to fit my 22.5" tts lurcher.....who neck is 12.5". Pictures show how it works....loop round wrist and hold excess... Had it up before and no takers so if nobody wants it this time ill take it apart and re-use the cord. All i ask is you pay the postage or collect from midlothian. Thanks
