  1. Good quality wellies are a must for any fieldsport activity, neoprene lining is the way forward for comfort & warmth. Got to agree...although for me forking out the big bucks for wellies is a no no Im happy with the ones ive got... stockhill wellies... Under 40 quid...neoprene lined...and like most wellies...waterproof Used all winter....but now the better weathers coming...ill be moving onto boots
  2. I have this catapult frame for sale. Named ' the bpr sadsack' by myself.... Hand made by myself. Started life as a small log just like the one behind it.... Left a little bit of the bark on for a natural look.... Fitted to the shape of your hand and very comfy to shoot... Dont have bands to fit onto this unfortunatley....theyre taken up by my others.... Bands are less than a fiver on ebay Selling to buy some bandsets to rig more up... Might not really be worth selling... How does 10 pound sound? Thankyou.
  3. Musselburgh's not far at all for me.... Good video
  4. Can nobody hold the dogs for you...even split them up for a while until your sorted?
  5. This is nothing to do with this forum but i thought id mention it in this section. I posted the picture of my son shooting my catapult over on another forum. The catapult he was shooting was made by a guy on there called phil. After seeing the photo of my son shooting his catty, he went away and produced a specially made 'miniature' for my son to use. One on right... I have insisted on payment for it, postage atleast but he was adamant he didnt want anything and refused point blank. Now the catapults he makes are one of the best ive see , far better than

  7. Gone, to the gentleman above Will be posted tomorrow...
  8. You wont cause offence here Just give it a go with the one you have now...your pretty limited with what bands you can put on it. If you like it then i would advise you make your own. Theres great fun in finding a natural fork ( Y ) in the woods and making a catapult out of that
  9. A bit of banter pal...... Youve posted in the 4x4 section.... And asked if somebody makes carriers, when you can ask him yourself.
  10. Recieved this in a swap elswhere... i believe it is an rk pocket sniper.... Just cant get on with the shape as ive got small hands but big...... Banded up with theraband green tubing...very nice bands to shoot. Can attach tubes or flatbands over the top. Pretty versatile Looking for 17 pounds posted... 15quid pickup midlothian. 11. Is this just another way of asking "show us ya bull x's"
  12. Thought id openly thank strongstuff for the collars i recieved today. 2 different sizes and widths for my whippet and lurcher and they fit a treat. Ive seen many off these collars but never actually looked closely at them...blimey! The amount of stitching holding it together could pull a train itself (im sure ive heard of people towing cars with the leads or something, speaks for itself). Well id feel left out if i didnt put up a picture of the dogs sporting the obvious Im a big fan of leather collars, i like the look of them... But these really are smart and 'm
  13. Gamekeeper john makes a good catapult. But im just saying it takes him about 15 minutes to fire one out. Hes got a conveyor belt of cutting.....routering.....drilling.....sanding....spraying.... He must do about 30 at each stage.... No personal touch, unless you want to pay the bigger bucks. The 'fancy' designs are due to the layers in the multiplex that he uses, just use the dremmel. My point is, you can make one similar...it may not be as good aesthetically.....but you made it so it will be worth more to you
  14. Personally i wouldnt pay for that stuff. Just chuck a multi vitamin in there 13 quid a bags ok You can get 2 bags delivered to your door online for 30quid if the tracks not so 'local'.
  15. Having a look at old news feeds on the internet and came across this... http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/help-find-sick-yobs-who-101503 I know its a few years old, and may have been on here at the time.... But the sight of them 2 dogs is sickening to me
  16. That wont load for me. I know loads of people who use gain....and its good stuff. The feeds place local (kind of)...didnt stock it until i pointed her towards it... Its now by far her best seller by what im told I would just feed the biscuits on their own or mixed in with some raw. Mine are looking good on it...or so i think. a cod liver tablet in there once a day and a bit of veg as and when. Ive got both 20 and 28% in the shed. One thing i DID notice...was they had written on their bags of 20 & 28%..."SUITABLE FOR PUPPIES, LACTATING AND NURSING BITCHES"..
  17. Snapped the cartilage in my right knee whilst working away in november....pretty bad one.... Sent through for an emergency operation...... Was off my feet for 7 to 10 days...then out ferreting...easy jobs....rm2508 carried all the kit...netted up...lifted and carried me I just drank brews....was still out though. Lamping shortly followed before christmas.... Started making catapults while i was off work...to occupy my mind.... Back to work fully in january...physio every day... Missing going away and earning some good money...and promotion courses because i cant
  18. Which one of you changed their username then, bit dated this post. Dont get that?
  19. Nice one mate do they get much game then? I'm not really into mouching around day time i'm more of a lamper. She does me Depends what you want in a dog. Whippets are good but mine struggles in boggy ground where the lucher just powers through it. Very quick and agile dogs. For an out and out lamping dog id go for something a bit bigger... For a bit of this and that.....and a good companion who will run its heart out for you.....whippet.
  20. Out lamping wigh rm2508 and xxgeo28xx.....theres an almighty CRASH!!! ross shone the lamp in the trees thinking it was a pheasant breaking cover..... And seen geo face down in the dirt with an expensive rifle snapped in 2
  21. Very under estimated little dogs Mines show bred...and i tell ye.....fcuking fiery...and keen! Cant imagine what a good working bred one would be like Injury prone? Mines broke both its back legs.....due to a freak accident Nothing to do with her being fragile or weak blah blah blah. Ferrets and lamps....not one injury....apart from a cut eye. Good dogs. Great in the house. Even better on the couch
