    i had a friend who shoots them, even at that he can only take a few .he has ta pay a few hundred aswell. you can only hunt them with a rifle. illeagle ta shoot them at night. highly illeagle ta hunt them with a lurcher

    id go for the pup. you allready have a dog for this season, so no rush. if you no the person and you no the dog they were selling it would be a different story. i wouldnt rush into buying a pup. id rather to wait till some one i knows breeds them. theres to many people out there who would breed anything just to make a few pound

    i wouldnt be asking strangers on a form ta come with me. as bird said,go on your own, walk it in the day to get the lay of the land and bring a good friend with ya. i wouldnt bring a stranger to my land. wouldnt even tell anyone where i hunts. id tell them a different place. could easy lose it

    i was coming back from a walk a few days ago.an old man seen me dogs and he started talking to me bout the dogs anall.i told him i have ferrets aswell so he started talking bout ferrets. he was on bout a ferret muzzel, that he used ta make them himself and that he never got a kill with them. so i said what if the ferret came a cross a rat, wouldnt it need ta defend itself. he said that he had no bodder with rats. as soon as the ferret enters the burrow, if theres a rat in there it would bolt.. did anybody have any experence using muzzells.

    sound, ill look up that forum and see can i find someone ta tag along with this season. then if its for me i could buy a bird next season. it would give me time to save for the bird and equipment and make a place for it aswell.

    well, iv been thinking bout getting in ta falconry with awhile now. i am looking for a bird for phesants. i no nothing bout birds of prey and doing some reserch first. is there any good books i can read or dvds.and what would ye rekon would be the best bird to get for a first timer. thanks marty
