  1. I have always dismissed light pellets in .177 , but these are something else even at long range I have put this up before but its worth looking at http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/174275-Massive-177-JSB-Pellet-Velocity-Test-0-50-metres
  2. Just cant seem to put the HW100k.177 down, its deadly accurate with the Airmax 30 scope with AA Express 7.9gr and of course the CS500 stock , which fits like a glove I have taken 24 rabbits from the cut rape seed field in the past four days, then shot another 6 to night which makes 30 for those who cant count Must try and take out the .22 HW100kt , but the .177 is just doing it for me at the moment , Sorry Bigmac but it is !!!!
  3. At least you kept the old lady happy ,well done
  4. Once again nice write up and shooting
  5. Putting a heavier mod on helps with light guns But hold is most important and breathing with trigger and follow through . don't take your eye away from scope until pellet has hit home
  6. Missed about 4 at the beginning but after that got my eye in
  7. She is away at the moment , wait until she comes back and find her freezer is full of rabbits , just before she went away ,I sold 30 rabbits @ £2.50 out of my freezer and the wife's, they are both full again and I told her I will not be putting any more rabbits in hers
  8. Been up to the fields where the rape seed has just been cut , with the trusty HW100 k with the CS 500 stock fitted . I have also changed pellet from JSB heavies to AA Express and I can tell you these pellets are fantastic in my gun and many HW owners are using these pellets in the HW100 and 97k , in fact most of the HW range ,both in .177 7.9gr and .22 14.3gr ,so lads if you haven't tried them you should give them a go Shot these from 30 yards to 65 yards in a bit of a breeze
  9. Certainly doing its job ,nice shooting mate
  10. Nice write up and good shooting
  11. people say with .20 you need to use a light pellet ,something like 11.5 gr @ 660 fps but with a heavy pellet like JSB in .177 10.3gr @ 714fps and a .22 light pellet 13.3gr @ 625fps , I just cant see any advantage of a .20 IMO
  12. Rez , the RAW will not do any more than the HW100 ,apart from taking more money out of your pocket !!
  13. Rez , with the MMc cocking ,your hands are always on the gun and they have that extra safety as well .Probably the most accurate air gun I have ever shot , my shooting mates just cant believe the shots I have pulled of with the ultra
  14. That's in your opinion and I have never heard of things snapping ,you just don't like that cocking system full stop . I have never had a problem with mine in 4+ years and I like the cocking system , its not complicated either
  15. Every thing you need to know is here http://xtxair.com/
  16. just got both lots of pellets out and both look the same , even under a magnifying glass
  17. Cant beat this time of year for shooting IMO
