    cheers pal i enjoy going out on my own with the ferrets it can be hard going sometimes but i suppose it keeps me fit atb

    i desided to have a look out with the ferrets and nets today i was up early got my breakfast then packed all the gear and ferrets into the car i also desided to take my longnet as there is a couple of places where it would be handy today. got to the first location where there is a big metal container on this permission like the ones you get on ships any way there s a few holes down one side of it and also at one end of it so i set the longnet up round it and entered the ferrets iv often seen rabbits going under the container but today there was nothing under it this is the second time iv had m

    hello there does anyone know where i can get hold of some desent 1" rings for net making i bought some off ebay but most of them come apart and they arnt welded properly iv also bought some from aurthor carters but they are the same any help would be good atb SR

    i was out knocking on doors the other week i dressed smart and i must have went round about 30 farms asking for permission i ended up getting it of 1 farm and a golf course you get alot of knock backs but its does pay off sometimes im off out again next week for the day asking for permission again hopfully ill get somemore atb and good luck finding permission

    iv got pink ones and yellow ones the colours more for you so your not leaving nets on sets but as the one says it doesnt matter what colour the nets are when a ferrets up a rabbits arse it will bolt atb pal

    bisley nets are the best :laugh: only joking pal there shite i used to buy shop ones when i was younger but i learnt to make them and would not buy a shop net again the hand made ones are better by far and its nice to catch a rabbit in something you've made yourself atb pal

    i have been getting some sliders for making purse nets with i was wondering if theres anyone on here that could show me how to attatch them (with pics) as i havent got a clue i have only been using 1"rings for net making but thought i would give the sliders ago any help would be good thanks atb SR

    better luck next time pal you cant catch them all iv had a few days like that its still good to get out though it beats sitting in atb for next time

    sorry to hear that pal i had the same happen to me a few year back my lurcher had chased a rabbit across a field in the dark and on to a main road and got killed found him on the road after looking for him for a while not a nice feeling at all keep your chin up atb pal
