  1. I use a layer of wood shavings or carboard and shredded wax paper. Does the job dogs are warm and dry
  2. Good going mate. My own pup doing exactly what your's is doing and the other night got 6 but a couple got away dropping them again. Good to know isnt just mine lol
  3. I love staffs would be the only pet dog I would have or maybe a wee rough coated terrier that could do a bit of bushing as well. Don't think theres a better pet that a good healthy staff. Lurchers also make good pets when mine retire thats what way they will spend the rest of their days.

  6. Having done both it has to be MMA hands down. Dont get me wrong boxing is a science although its going backwards. The training for MMA is a lot tougher i.e grappling etc. As for overpayment MMA fighters get enough but no were near the scale of boxers.
  7. Im with SACS mate £35 for year covers £10mil public liability insurance and £100,000 legal fees. I only got it and dont leave the house without it now. Its already got me 4 new pieces of permission and counting
  8. As said if the digging is hard then you want one that will move of the rabbit or kill and move on. If the diggings hard then you dont want 1 that will stick. End up with this
  9. Looks the part that mate. Made a good few myself but havent made any in a while. Have a half finished 1 hanging up lol. I just prefer bolting to the dogs now far more enjoyable
  10. I mix it with minced meat about 3/4 times a week. My dogs look an perform well. Dogs seem to enjoy it and they getting nutrients from it and the other food alongside it
  11. I would go for the dog that suited my temperment. I would look at which 1 had better feet etc and then maybe make my decision from there

  15. Ive always had staffs and will continue to have them. Just as pets thou or a wee mooching partner. Its like any breed: raise and socialise it properly and the dog should be fine. JMO
  16. Im only hunting about 2 years and tbh I dont have much ground to hunt. Ive got a handful of spots just. Ive been brought out by a few lads of this site and by others and would never go back to any mans ground. At the end of the day your just shooting yourself in the foot and blackening your name. All you can do is ask farmers and if they say yes respect the land. The problem comes when people go back who dont respect the land or wipe it out!!
  17. Just put my jill in with my hob and that big bugger will keep them warm. My hutch is inside a shed so no damp or wind. Ive just upped their bedding with shavings and shredded paper
  18. Well myself, theferreter, a mate, Venus and Blue headed down to 1 of our permissions to get the ferrets out and get some bunnies for the freezer. I had my 10 month pup out for her first full days ferreting and my mate had his bull cross thats getting up the years with us aswell. This permission usually holds quite a few and a some road kill was a promising sign. Ferrets worked well today with only a couple of digs. But there wasnt as many as we had hoped. The dogs were unlucky today not to snatch any up but the cover is still quite thick although a few penalty kicks were missed but its all a
  19. My bitch is beardie/grey x saluki hoping she will lamp and do daytime. If she does what's asked of her ill be putting a good all round dog over her thats a crackig lamping dog
