    So when you are lamping, you lift your dog over fences, gates, etc ? Cheers. I meant when in pursuit, if im lamping and a rabbit runs under a fence and out of the beam then its there for another time. But when walking from 1 field to the next or what I dont lift the dog it jumps. Ill be at the fence to and have a look at whats on the other side first

    I agree a dog should jump fence and gates when needed and 100% when on the run but only day time, wouldnt want my dog jumpIng a fence in the dark

    My opinion of an all rounder is a dog that you can take with you no matter what you are going hunting for hare, fox, rabbit etc.

    Wasnt many of the first crosses an experiment to start off with? Everyone always says what will this bring to the table that other crosses have, wont have the drive of a bull x or stamina of a saluki etc. But no one will know untill it is tried and tested.

    Probs just playing mate. All my dogs and mates dogs play together but we know when it gets a bit rough and when to step in before it escalates. You will know your own dog and when its type of play is turning a little serious.

    I used all those videos also they are by tegater of here. I get all my supplies from agouti great quality and service. Just take your time and follow the steps carefully. After you make 1-2 nets you get the hang of it

    I really cant seem to get my pup retriving only brings it back now any again and gets bored after 1 or 2 throws but ive been doing it every other day just a couple of throws so hopefully might with the real thing. But better a dog that catches and doesnt retrive than 1 that doesnt catch and retrives

    Does a fully loaded Loomis needle fit through a 1" purse net ring? Would be far handier than to keep re loading the needle or swapping needles? Cheers
