  1. bitchie, it's a well known fact that in Wales, we wear wellies to put the back legs of the sheep in to stop them running away That's why welsh sheep are always so happy
  2. Was good to chat with you Ray and good to see the dogs in the flesh Both look really well fair play and Buck got a good run around ATB Sam
  3. Imo if you were morally righteous you would not commit acts of paedophilia etc One naturally contradicts the other. Domestic violence, child exploitation corruption in society are subjects that have no relevance to this topic ,which is about running hares during the summer months. The place to debate them is in the general topic section . What facts or circumstances would one need to form an opinion on the subject of running hares in the summer ? Either you do ,or you don't, and people will either agree with you if you do , or they won't, it's a simple yes or no. You
  4. That old chestnut "....because other lads will get there first if I don't..." doesn't equal 'respect for quarry'. To me, if you have morals then you have morals. If you don't have morals you pursue quarry out of season I may be wrong though.......
  5. Sorry to hear about that mate but isn't there a theory that the mother will do this type of thing on purpose to a pup(s) if they are weak etc.? I've heard of them eating a whole litter too
  6. Good show lads Good turn out and looking forward to Chirk show next weekend
  7. Me, personally, I wouldn't buy a dog other than straight from the dam and I'd like to know a bit of background before buying too. I've bought a dog as an adult before and know of others who have done the same and based on all of these never again Sam
  8. Rally nice looking dog that mate! Looks like you got yourself a good little ferreting team with the collie whippet too ATB with next season Sam
  9. What does he want the pups to turn out like? Does he want them to have more speed? Does he want them to take up the same roll as his dog?
  10. How is milly coming on geoff has have you started her yet? what is her temperament like? Temperament wise, she's very obedient, very wary of strangers and vocal towards them. She's very loving & eager to please, but she gets a bit over excited when she knows she's going out for her daily mooch. Basically we only bred her just for a little bit of mooching ,nothing too serious. She has an excellent prey drive, and a good nose on her, but sadly ,we do most of our walking in a wooded area, and just recently she's started opening up a little. To be absolutely honest John it doesn't bother
  11. Congrats Charlie. No wonder you weren't answerin my PM's

  15. Really nice collie cross mate! Beardie and border in that?
  16. Try to take the dog on regular short drives out. When you get to your destination, do something fun like go for a walk or have a run around. After this the dog will associate going in a car with fun and won't be nervous in the car. It worked with me ATB Sam
  17. Looking good mate. All the best with her Love the look of beddy crosses Sam
