  1. That's a real shame Geoff! Hope she makes a swift recovery for you Have you every used a laser pen? We used one on Fen and obviously we can't be sure whether it helped or not but the chyropractor said that they work well Thanks FM, don't you worry about that. He won't be getting rushed! I've made that mistake before, never again. It jjust makes thing more difficult in the long run
  2. Here's mine again. Pic taken yesterday
  3. Thanks lads. Shame he got injured and had to have so much time off because he was starting off well but hey ho! He's only young so there's plenty of time yet
  4. Ok, first off, I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! About month or so ago I took Fen to a chyropracter for a muscle injury. I was told to put ice on it once a day and then massage the area and after a week, stop with the ice but keep massaging the area until he seems to be over it. Now, a month on, he seems to be doing just fine so I took him out for his first proper leg stretch since the injury. Bloody good job too as he's been bouncing off the walls I think I'm going to give him until the weekend and then take him out for a spin. Can't wait to get out ag
  5. Good luck with your choice mate. If you want to know more about Bryn then PM Brid off here - he's the dogs owner. Last time I spoke to him a couple of months ago, Bryn hadn't been over a bitch but he is supposed to be a very, very good dog and Ray (Bird) is an honest guy

Do you ever have a problem with them goin to ground mate?
  7. Ok mate well there are a couple of ways you can do it. You can either buy ready tanned skins like these http://sportingcutlery.co.uk/taxidermy-and-tanning/rabbit-skins.html or you can use a tanning kit like this http://sportingcutlery.co.uk/taxidermy-and-tanning/tanning-kits/cp0502.html Comes with full instructions and will do around 30 rabbit skins (or the same area of any small to medium sized mammal skin. There are other ways tanning with aluminium sulphate etc but for this you will need to find a recipe. We do sell aluminium sulphate too but we can't advise on any specific recipe
  8. what process are you using mate? Is it a ready made tanning kit or is it individual chemicals?
  9. I had a whippet that used to loose the hair on the end of his tail if he had straw bedding. Try changing bedding mate and give it a dose of flea treatment to be on the safe side
  10. Yes mate. All fat and fleshy tissue needs to be scraped off for best results

  13. Nice bitch mate and good bag too! Has she got a problem with her eye or is it just the camera angle? ATB Sam
  14. same as you fazza123 ... a big thanks for it As the man says mate
  15. The pup in the top pic reminds me of mine when he was that age. With that proper terrier forehead This is him now All the best with the last two mate Sam
  16. Do you think that's how they're brought up though Topper? I've never owned one so I wouldn't know.
  17. Not all get hard mate. My terrier will just hold shot or netted rabbits - she's not interested in killin them and she's had rats and squirrels PB, Bear is right to an extent. It will be much harder for you to find a dog that's soft mouthed retrieving but will go ratting. Either that or you'll need to work really hard on getting it trained properly. From what I've heard of beddys, they should do the job just fine for you. Good luck Sam
  18. Think you could say the same with most beddy crosses havent came across one that doesnt give everything for its quarry do or die stuff Very true mate but it does give you a good start when you're working with the right ingredients
  19. As I've said in the for sale section - Plenty of people to vouch for dog and bitch around us. Sire has balls of steel and has sired another litter and I've heard that all pups are doing well. My type of pups these are but no point in me getting another at the moment for reasons I stated in the for sale ad for these pups. If brought up right, you will not be disappointed with one of these pups
