Fair play , I bet he's an absolute gentleman and as honest and straight as they come . Old guys like that are legendary and a big part of what this game is all about . Remember hunting hounds with a mate in the south of Ireland few years back , this old character used to be out all the time and shot many a fox . One day this arrogant young asshole was giving him bad manners and being smart , the old guy took his coat off , folded it up and sat it on the hedge , was like slow motion. Then he battered the shit outta your man , it was class to see and something that will stay with me forever

Mate had a wee tri-colour Russell bitch years ago called judy . Bought her off a local dealer for £18 , lost count the amount of foxs we got with that bitch , she never failed . He had a Morris marina van at the time . Every weekend we wer packed in the back and away we go . Remember one day in particular going to a sett and trying a young dog that had worked a few fox previously, tried the dog in and round the sett he went for about 10/15 minutes and out saying no . Big Lurcher dog we had at the time was marking sett and he was never wrong , entered judy she bolted first fox which got away ,

Has anyone bought one of these ? Got one last week, and when it arrived it was faulty , eventually got an answer to the phone after countless calls, texts and e-mails . Was told new batteries and PIL would be sent straight away , still waiting, very disappointed to say the least . Torch arrived day after it was ordered by the way so can't understand what the delay is with replacements . Have tried contacting them again but no reply

We had a half cross years ago , was the most laid back dog I've seen . Worked alongside terriers, hounds and other lurchers with no hassle at all . But boy could he work , one of the best single handed fox dogs I've saw . -
