  1. hi mark welcome to the site mate,i take it you meant a collie/greyhound first cross which will do all the above tasks reasonably well,if properly trained i might ad, but like anything else you get good ones and not so good ones ,as for hancock lurchers love him or hate him if you go to him you know your getting a genuine half cross which if entered right should turn out to be a useful dog.

  4. ok guys looking for a very small hob ferret to go over my small Jill,or if there's any one going to be breeding the smaller types of working ferrets this year i would be interested in purchasing one, preferably in wales or west wales atb
  5. a terrier is a must if your ferreting hedges or any thick cover in my opinion,they get in and push on were bigger dogs want.
  6. borders are like any other breed of terrier some good some not so good
  7. a fine bit of sport mate,catches depend on how many rabbits are about but they'll have a few if there keen enough
  8. time and patience thats all he needs,at the end of the day he's a baby
  9. years ago had a jack russell who used to do that and cut her belly on carpet :laugh: :laugh:

  12. Youve got too much dog on your hands, do the dog a favour and give him to someone you know who has the enough workload and experience for the dog. Good luck. simple as really
  13. they come out with me as soon as they can keep up with me walking, then like has been said they follow the other dogs and learn at there own pace
