I know what your saying mate but i was the same at his age and i didnt have anyone to teach me or oversee things. Get him on here get him out with you and let him see how much time and effort it is. My younger brother loves bieng out with the dogs BUT if he wants to get into dogs he can get a pup and work it all out himself ..... Then he should appreciate a decent dog. Just my opinion. ATB totally agree mate

Im 15 and been into for 5 or so years, i have a bull cross and theyre not always lunatics mate, Id advise a pup to be honest, if you dont think he is into it enough or knows enough top bring a pup on then i dont think he should have one at all, good luck in the search though mate but i would say itll be pretty tricky finding a ready made dog this time of year
