  7. but with the farmer paying £20 quid a fox, it would be fairly handy to have
  8. hah, thats true actually
  9. Nice little lurcher! cheers mate
  10. fair point its not inches that kill foxes, but it would definately help, the best dogs to give them the instincts and power are a bedlington or bull cross, so thats maybe what i should look for.
  11. shes the best dog i could want for ferreting and lamping rabbits like i got her for, its just if i can have the joy of breeding her and get a nice dog out of it why not. i would like to put her to a bit bigger dog so im confident it could take a fox without injury. does anyone know of any nice stud lurchers?

  15. i got my pup from hull mate, she seems keen but wouldnt want to set her on something that could give me a big vets bill
  16. i suppose i could put her to a bull/whippet or a bull/whippet/grey, anyone know of any nice stud lurchers in the lincolnshire area? any suggestions greatfull!
  17. yeah, what do you guys reckon about the maximum size the stud dog should be for a 19 inch bed/whippet? thinking about a bedlington/grey or collie/grey. anybody know of any nice stud dogs? cheers
  18. she has all i want in a lurcher, apart from a little more height because im not confident in setting her on a fox, she is only 11 months now so have plenty of time to decide. she is 19 inch tts, so quite big for a first cross bitch. i would breed her witha greyhound or a bed/grey but not sure if she would cope with the size of the pups.
  19. i was just wondering what people think i should cross my first cross bedlington/whippet to. i would like to add a bit more size for foxes though
