    hi every one i seem to be having bother with putting certain pics up for some unknown reason it just says file to large to transfer any help appreciated thanks

    all these squirrels were shot at 30 yds or more the woodies a little closer some really good head shots [if i may say so myself lol] iim having problems with a few photos as it keeps saying file to big so when i suss it out i will post other pics

    well at least you taking the advice on board mate and not making a big deal of it ,you come across as a canny lad who obviously enjoys his hunting forays so things will only get better for you and dogs .personally i dont think any one has slated you with there comments there just offering constructive advice as they,ve probably been in the same boat as you at one time .keep the vids comming i for one look forward to the progress you make atb billy

    in my honest opinion i dont think there is a need for such a cross yet ive seen a couple that can get the job done but no better than a pure bred

    i had a collie that i could use for a wide variety of things ie-ferreting ratting beating shooting etc so i think the lab x collie would be a canny dog to work with good luck

    on the land i shoot on there every where but my mates the keeper and i would not dream of taking one but like has been said when i was a lad i would have filled a sack up and never batted an eye over it i dont think the odd one would be missed just dont get caught if your not supposed to kill em

    after a quick chat with my mate [keeper] i was asked to pop thruogh to sort a few squirrels out .on arival two new fellas were waiting for me asthe keeper had promised them a day out with the air rifles and i was to show them around,they were standing waiting with rifles at the ready and before i could get sorted a squirrel was spotted ,for some reason or other both men were reluctant to have a go at it and quick as a flash my rifles out and im on the critter and even tho this was a very long shot i hit home to the amazement of both the keeper and the two fellas. well we set off and 10 min

    thanks for the replies.if they turn out as good as my last dog i will be a happy man but i wont compare them with her as that might distract me in there progress ive been beating this season for a friend but its not the same without a dog so hopefully next season i will have a companion or two with me.

    well every one after a lot of thought i decided to move on after losing my cocker bitch and her pups,i was inundated with offers of pups from my friends and eventually took on 2 springer pups[koda &bailey] there from different litters but same sire koda was an only pup and bailey was from a litter of 11 there ten weeks old now and up to alsorts of mischief there due 2nd needles next week and i will begin there training a little at a time with the help of my wife

    if your keeping her as a little ferreting /marking dog then i think all should be fine its glad to see your keeping pup regardless as i would and i think many others would have given up on it .well done

    got 2 springer pups 9 weeks old and they seem ok with them but i do symphasise with people whos dogs are scared of fireworks some of them that go off round here sound like they belong in beruit

    thats very bad luck your having pal in my opinion i would persevere ONE more time with pup and do every thing last post said and if it happens again i think you will have to make a big decision wether you keep the pup or give it a pet home only all the best mate

    have to disagree with you whin, the lad and dog have done well so you could just praise him up instead of criticising mate
