  5. Hi Elliot its never nice to shoot Rabbit's in young, but your on a Golf Course permission and I'm sure you would not be their long if the staff found out you weren't taking Rabbits just because they were preggers. 13. i don't know about going to hell i just think shootings not allowed you'd have to stop before you get in, it was a very unexplainable experience one I'll never be able to explain, whether its the last thoughts your thinking or there really is something at the other side i won't know until next time but i hope its along time coming: Dave
  14. HI all I'm back amongst the living, and may i thank you all for all your kind words and concern, and a special thanks to Tony(weekendrifles) who i now count as a friend. I answered his post offering some shooting to anyone who would show him the ropes, so i offered to take him with us on all my permissions. Then sadly on the Sunday before i had arranged to meet him which would have been on the following Tuesday, following an attack on the Saturday my son who is a Doctor at the hospital that i ended up at on the Sunday, he pleaded with me to get me into hospital after the Saturday attack but i

Thanks Adam, hope I'm better by Tues when i go to the Docs as i plan to go shooting all being well that evening, we have a field that as not been shot for a year, and was just cut on Thursday for the Hay. And Alan B that shoots with me actually cut it, as he helps out on the Farm and while he was cutting it Rabbits were flying out every ware, and the field is easily accessible for my 4x4 so it wont stress me out too much ATVB : Dave
  17. I have seen a few Vids you did, haven't you shot with SI and Davy if memory serves me, whats happened with the Vids are you still doing any: Dave
  18. Thanks Adam that is my normal technique, but i was so out of breath when i did the Vid that i was actually shaking, the infection had caused my throat to swell partially obstructing my airway thats what my problem was i probably shouldn't have done the Vid but i was so fed up of sitting in the house: Dave
  19. Hi the Camera is a JVC EVERIO HDD 40 GIG, HD 32 X OPTICAL, 800 X DIGITAL, I used the scope clamp from a Deban Tristar Lamp that was broken and adapted it to screw into the tripod fastening underneath. you can buy brackets for mounting camera's to bike handlebars of e-bay for a few quid that will then clamp onto the scope, but my method is so easy to put on and take off it just snaps on: Dave
  20. Your right Darryl ive had a stinker of a throat infection that i havent got over yet, and every time i old my breath i feel like i have to breeth straight away. Darryl do you shoot with War Kid, and were you on Airgun Universe before it folded: Dave
  21. You are correct Tony not far from the power station, i was thinking of trying to get some more permission out that way to tag on to make a day of it, but to be honest I've as much as i can handle. If you would like to PM me I'll give you my mobile number and maybe we could talk about you coming out with us soon, it would have to be sometime next week though as I'm recovering from an illness but should have the all clear when i go back to the Docs on Tuesday, i shoot with two others when Rabbiting, but we can always spit the fields up i don't mind helping out genuine people you sound very since
  22. Tony, I have a small permission near Selby at Templehirst, i live 14 miles from their at Castleford is it anyware near their: Dave
  23. I believe it was a mink, but why are there no photos, so its all speculation but look at this info: Dave http://www.gwct.org.uk/education__advice/frequently_asked_questions/predation/726.asp
  24. we do crop protection on thousands of acre and there are numerous coveys of Partridges about not pen reared, all the young one's we've seen are very immature yet and will need at least 7-8 weeks yet to see them at there best. I'm sure everyone would like to take a sporting shot. than a bird that hasn't got its pilot license, Ive seen far too many birds being shot over the years that don't represent a shot at all but still are shot just to make the bag up: Dave
  25. Nice shooting Mr Mole, good treble: Dave
