  5. Hi all, I took 2 mates of mine along with Tony (Weekendrifle) of this forum, We all met at my house at 0700 just a 10 minute drive to the field. We arrived shortly after got set up in the field with the wind blowing at 16-20MPH, excellent for pigeon shooting, no sooner had we completed setting out the decoys and the spinner the Pigeons started coming. The day before i had seen about 2000 Pigeons on this field without a word of a lie, they started coming in numbers about 10 or 12. after half an hour Tony and i were building a nice little bag, Tony being new to shooting over decoys was slow to

  15. As the title suggests this was an arrangement to meet up with Tony (aka Weekendrifle a member off THL but he is mainly into air rifle shooting. I answered a post of Tony's asking for some assistance with his permission but offered to take him with us on all my permissions, i had arranged with Tony that i would meet up with him on the Tues 02.0812 which turned out to be 4 days after i ended up in hospital with Pulmonary Embolisms, Tony was informed of my problem and from that day whilst in Hospital Tony text me almost every day, This was from a lad that i had never met, i knew from the offset t
  16. Excellent shooting there lads a decent bag, i can't get a Goose for love nor money on the stubble fields i have left they seem to be using other area's, i have one of the best bit's of flash water round here on one of my permissions, but the sodding council have stopped us shooting it as the land is leased from them by the farmer. i just have to hope they return some time to the fields: Dave

  18. Have you checked that the probe "O" Ring is still on, if not will cost about 70p for a new ring the gun shop may fit it for you if not its not that difficult to do. you can use a paper clip straighten it out file one end so its round then bend the end over to form a "u" about 1/8th of an inch long use this to then slip the ring over the probe and into the slot then remove the clip, hope this helps: Dave
  19. Hi Tom the law states that you can shoot over a public right of way only if you have permission to shoot both sides, and in doing so you do not put anyone in danger, so if someones on the path you must Waite and let them pass unless they are far enough away that you don't cause them any arm: Dave
  20. Well done again Mac, your thinning them out too fast LOL: Dave

  24. Hi Tron bad news that what a waste of money, i have used the RWS Super-H-Point and still do to good effect but in .22, i honestly think for the price you can't go far wrong with the RWS range in .177 or .22. i Have a BSA SCORPION SE in .177 and haven't tried the RWS in it yet but will do but i find Exact Diablo and AA Field are superb: Dave
